Understanding The Various Levels of Attachment w/ Reality Transurfing

In this video Renee Garcia walks viewers through the concept of "Pendulums" in Vadim Zeland’s Reality Transurfing and explains how attachment—defined as the level of importance we assign to people, situations, or beliefs—creates energetic loss. She maps a spectrum of detachment strategies, from the most superficial (simply observing or "renting yourself out" to a pendulum) to deeper interventions such as renegotiating the terms of an attachment, physically removing oneself from a relationship or job, and finally confronting deeply embedded biological or familial programming. Garcia recommends Dr. David Hawkins’ Letting Go as a tool for dropping importance, shares personal anecdotes (family pressure to procreate, poverty mentality, infertility struggles) to illustrate how scripts operate beneath conscious awareness, and introduces a practical "why" inquiry method for peeling back layers of conditioning. Throughout, she emphasizes that each level of detachment requires increasing self‑awareness and willingness to question the origin of one’s attachments, offering concrete steps for viewers to identify, manage, or completely sever unhealthy pendulums.

I actually struggled with this lesson yesterday. I did about 5 takes and I finally gave up on it. And then last night in a dream, it came to me, how to more effectively and efficiently teach this lesson. So, I'm really excited about this one, because this is something— that has happened for me after Transurfing now for 5, 6 years is understanding the various levels of attachment and detachment. Because there really is not a one-size-fits-all, or one trick to detaching from Pendulums. And when I say Pendulum here, I am meaning— the deepest definition of a Pendulum, the deepest meaning of a Pendulum. Well, I'm meaning it all, the full spectrum from things that are slight annoyances in your reality to very, very deeply embedded programming and biological structure, right? This is a Pendulum, because even though we may not— recognize it, our minds are running on a background Script that oftentimes, if we don't acknowledge, we can get lost to the Script. And I will give you my example of how I see the most serious of Scripts, right? The most serious of Pendulums. And then how to gauge— where this Pendulum stands in your life, right? If it's something— and this is gonna be the more superficial side of the spectrum, and this is the more serious, right? So, is it a Pendulum, again, maybe something that's just slightly irritating you, like a family member that has the news on all the time, or an annoying person at work, or something that you don't have to— try to rid yourself entirely of. You can do Transurfing techniques to tune this Pendulum out. But then, on the more serious side, we're gonna talk about really deeply embedded programming and biological things that happen to us and run us, and all the things that you can do to determine if maybe— whatever process is running in the background is not serving you or your highest intentions, right? So, if you are challenged by letting go of something, or detaching from something on a very, very deep level, I would highly recommend this book by Dr. David Hawkins, 'Letting Go'. Absolutely incredible for challenging yourself on a deep level to essentially accept anything and everything as it currently stands in your life, and move through challenges and attachments with this letting go technique. It is like— it's like Dr. David Hawkins took the most valuable part of Reality Transurfing, Importance, and made a book on how to drop Importance on essentially everything. And it's beyond brilliant! I mean, this book is an absolute gem! So, if you are troubled or challenged by something big in your life right now, dysfunctional relationship, unhappiness with your career, feeling as though you're not financially where you want to be, whatever it is you're challenged by, if it's something big— Highly recommend this! This is 'Dropping Importance', advanced course, really, is what it's about. So, check that one out! You can get it on Amazon. So, here is how I see it, my rundown of the various levels of detachment. Now, again, attachment is another way of saying importance, right? Our importance levels, as Vadim Zeland talks about in the book, our importance levels, are what causes our problems in life. And that is why the challenges that I encounter maybe don't hold the same value or weight to someone else that is challenged by their own things. I mean, for me personally, I see people battling with their Pendulums and having high Importance levels, because remember, Pendulums hook us via our Importance levels. So, it's kinda like a double whammy. You lose from having your Importance levels raised, excess potential, balancing forces, and the Pendulum also gets you, hooks you with your Importance levels and extracts energy from you. So, attachment really is— Monumental loss. It is monumental loss. And when you read something like Reality Transurfing, my experience, I realized that I had attachment to a lot of things no longer serving me. I was in business with lots and lots of Pendulums that had sort of originally lured me in with something that seemed promising. Promising only to give less and take more as time went on, right? So, I found myself in this part of the spectrum more so after I read Transurfing and realized that it wasn't really enough any longer to superficially detach. So, superficially detaching is concepts like renting yourself out, "I see myself, I see my reality," right? So, You have an annoying person in your reality and you start to get triggered by them. And again, you feel the urge to respond in a negative way. This is you having Importance levels about something to do with your interaction, that Pendulum hooking you, and then that line of energy's created, right? And the extraction begins. Now, when you see yourself and you see your reality, you can wake up to that Pendulum hooking you and be like, "Wait, nope, it's not gonna go down like that!" This is when you have some other options to like rent yourself out, right? This is you seemingly giving what the Pendulum is asking for, but you knowing what the Script is, therefore you're acting exactly the same as you normally would, but that energetic line's been severed and you're not— You're not just getting bled dry. You are consciously aware of the interaction, and you are continuing to watch yourself and watch your reality and watch the Pendulum, and give the Pendulum what it wants as to not anger the Pendulum or irritate the Pendulum, therefore it getting its hook into you even more and extracting from you even more. So, superficial Pendulum management. Again, this is you using these techniques to deal with the Pendulum and keep it in your reality, right? Keeping it in your reality, so not disrupting things too much, just learning how to have a different relationship with the Pendulum so you don't induce transition, go off course, all that kinda stuff. Watch my video 'Pendulum Management', it's a good one on— Assessing the deal. This is kind of a step in between physical detachment of the Pendulum, superficial Pendulum management, superficial Pendulum— dealing with it in a more superficial way. And then the Pendulum management is when you actually sit down and ask yourself what is— What is this attachment giving me? And what am I getting in return? Is this attachment— and most likely, if you're asking yourself this, it's an unhealthy attachment. So, if you're asking yourself, "What is the deal exactly?" it's probably time to reassess the deal, to renegotiate the deal. So, Pendulum Management is like— really one of the first steps to having a solid Transurfing practice. Because unless you really break it down of what exactly is going on and how you need to switch it up, your Pendulums are gonna continue to extract, and you are going to continue to probably be on the short end of the stick of that deal. Okay, physical detachment. This is when it gets more serious, right? So, let's say you are attached to a marriage. Or you are attached to a job, and you've kind of gone through these steps here, right? Maybe I can try to Transurf it. And again— and I know Matthew Barnes stated this the other day on one of my videos, and it's so true. Trying to Transurf a relationship is incredibly exhausting. It takes a lot of energy, even to just Transurf a relationship. Doing this stuff can long-term not be the solution. It can still cause a lot of energetic loss. So, sometimes, you know, you can try this for a while and you're like, "Oh God! I just don't wanna try to Transurf this anymore!" This is when you renegotiate a little bit. And then, this is when you determine that it's maybe time to call it quits, right? Calling it quits is defeating the Pendulum, removing yourself from the presence of the Pendulum, changing your environments, right? These are big steps. This is where— This is where true physical detachment comes in. If this stuff hasn't worked, maybe it's time for a divorce, maybe it's time to quit your job, maybe it's time to move out of wherever you're living because it's toxic or something isn't right and there's no way that you can really find balance there. Maybe it's time to call it quits and actually physically detach, right? So, in between physical detachment and— really addressing deeply embedded programming, I see this as sort of the space where you break down reality as you are currently experiencing it, okay? So, what this means is if you are— let's say you're powerful enough and you're aware enough to realize, "I can't do this anymore. This ain't working. I need to physically detach," right? And then you physically detached. In between questioning how you are deeply programmed and physical detachment, this is the space where maybe it's time to start asking questions of why you allowed this to happen, right? So, maybe you got married young and you're like— you realize 20 years in, the relationship's toxic and it's abusive, or whatever's going on, and you detach yourself. Well, then after you move through that period of detachment, or leaving the job, or whatever it is, you can get into this space and get yourself back into trouble, because maybe you aren't asking yourself why you allowed yourself to become attached in the first place. Maybe you got married because of fears of surviving on your own. Maybe your parents wanted you to. Maybe you didn't know what else to do. Maybe it's just the blueprint for life, right? You just jumped in because that's the thing that people do. Maybe it's the same with your profession. Maybe it's the same with, you know, something else massive about your life. So, really getting into it and asking yourself why you had to move through these steps, why you had to get to a point— first of all, you know, if it's gotten this bad, it's definitely time to start questioning what— is driving you, so you don't end up doing the same thing to yourself again. Because I've actually experienced this a few times with people coming to me, and they managed to, with these concepts, get themselves out of something, only to find themselves getting into a very similar situation. Because at a certain point, you really have to start breaking it down of why you had attachment to those— those people, those events, those conditions, and really start dissecting it and taking a look. So here, this is going to be the most serious form of detachment, right? This is detaching from deeply embedded programming. This is really questioning the nature of everything. I've had people come to me with, really big stuff. There was a woman that came into the group, um, this last year and she was desperate to get pregnant and she had had a number of miscarriages. She was extremely distraught. She was having a really, really challenging time with trying to conceive. And she asked me how Transurfing could help her conceive. And I said, Well, Transurfing can definitely put you in an optimal headspace that will lessen the stress that you're experiencing in your body, and may make things a little more nurturing so you could possibly see a pregnancy occur. But if it doesn't, Transurfing is about— learning to be okay with that too. It's not only about, you know, a lot of people come to Transurfing and they want to use Transurfing to inner intention something that they want. "Oh, I'm not getting this thing. I'm not getting the million dollars, the pregnancy, the partner, the this, the that. And I wanna use these concepts because I want that thing!" Right? So, what I'm suggesting here is for anyone— that is challenged beyond any of this stuff, right? Any of these different levels. If you are even beyond all this and you just do not like what it is you are experiencing right now, or are longing for something and you have been long-term, maybe it's time to really take a look at the programming behind that. So, I'm going to give you an example, and then I'm going to give you a few solutions. So, I come from a long line of women that had children, generations on my mother's side that had children before they were 17 years old. Everybody did. And my mom had 5 children before she was 30, right? So this was, this was a deeply embedded program to procreate, to give birth. And in this, in this script that, that a lot of the women in my life had chosen to adhere to, there's been a lot of suffering, right? People having kids that shouldn't have been having kids, people having way too many kids, people not able to to take care of the children they have, all that kind of stuff. But there was this really, really deep program running in the background of procreate, procreate, procreate, right? And the same goes for marriage, the same goes for anything having to do with survival, ensuring your survival, right? So, this program running in the background can really cause a significant amount of issues. If you don't check it, right? If you don't check it. Now, I'm not saying that it's necessary to give up on the program entirely, but it's— if you're, if you're struggling with something massive in your life right now, that you understand that there is an unhealthy level of attachment to needing to see something happen, or you're caught up in a script and you have a attachment to that series of events. Let's say you're in a marriage and you don't believe in divorce, and the divorce, the idea of divorce is going against all of your beliefs, right? But you don't know what else to do and you're suffering and you're in turmoil and you don't know what to do. This is the time to really start questioning very, very deeply that embedded program, biological, or something that your family started to put on you from a very, very young age. And the way that I have gotten myself out of this myself is to really challenge myself and ask myself why, right? Why? So if you are having issues with, let's say, a dysfunctional family, right? And you kinda feel like maybe it's time to detach, and then you don't feel necessarily so comfortable, and you're like, "Well, but you're supposed to stay with family and stay together and work it out!" Why? Why are you supposed to do that? Where did you get that information, right? "Well, that's what everybody believes, right?" Okay, so why does everybody believe it? Why did I say that? And you just keep going through the layers of why, trying to get down to the source of why you are following this deeply embedded program or script, and acknowledging the source of where this urge or where this drive is coming from, and really checking yourself deep, deep, deep within and asking yourself, is this Is this really what I want? Is this really what's good for me? Is this really something that is one of my goals or one of my intentions? Or is this a deeply embedded program kicking back some odd or funky kind of feedback that's messing with my mind, and I have unhealthy levels of attachment? Something that I don't even know that I necessarily want, right? So, getting back to the deeply embedded program that ran through my family for generations, luckily enough, I have no idea how the hell this happened, I saw this very, very quickly when I was young, "I'm not going to let this happen to me!" Right? "I'm not going to let this happen to me!" Now, it doesn't mean that I didn't have my challenges with it! I had to deal with, for years, people always saying, "Clock's ticking, Renee! When are you gonna get married? When are you gonna have kids? Don't let the time pass you by! Oh, you'll change your mind!" And all those sorts of things. And it caused me a bit of mental turmoil for a while, me having to really check back in with myself and be like, "No, that's biological and family programming, right? And what people are saying to me is feedback from their programming. So no, I need to really—" check, "Is that my goal? Is that my door?" Right? And for those of you that may be struggling with infertility, and I know this is pretty controversial of me to say this, and I don't mean to offend anybody, but maybe it's not meant for you, and your world's trying to tell you that, right? So, checking also when you're doing something this serious and it's coming from a place of inner intention— And you're maybe not recognizing or paying heed or paying attention to the signs that you're being given that it might not be the right thing for you. Try to check your programming and really get into it in a more deep way where you can start uncovering why those levels of attachment are so— are so high. Strong that you need to get over here and do this work, right? So, this is for people that are in trouble. And this is where I ended up. I had to question a bunch of stuff about my reality, about myself, about my programming, where the programming was coming from, how it was affecting me. A lot of this had to do with poverty mentality, right? Big, big, big massive work! So, challenge yourself, ask yourself why. When you get that answer— Ask why to that answer. When you get to that answer, ask why to that answer. And keep going down the levels of understanding so you can get to the root and realize it's probably just some bullshit script or programming that you've been running on and you didn't even realize it, right? So, acknowledging the source. Let me know what you think of this video, everybody! I know it's a heavy one, it's a long one, it's a powerful one! And if you are in need of detaching from scripts— something today or now in your life, use this, right? Can you superficially manage the situation, or do you need to get down to the root of where that programming began and pull that plant up from its roots out of the ground? Right? It's powerful. So thank you so much for watching and have a good day, everybody. Bye.
