Crypto, non-fungible tokens, digital wallets, tokenized assets. There are a lot of you out there now that own these types of assets. These are non-physical, decentralized, or platform-tied assets, and they require very unique credentials or tokens to access them. And for many of you out there, when you're gone, those assets will vanish forever. Now there are all kinds of ways to store digital assets, but the first thing you should do is create an inventory of all these assets. List them. Do not put the access credentials on this list. Put that information on some kind of external drive and then keep that in your vault or your safety deposit box. Use a password manager for the access credentials. Encrypt that information into some kind of cloud storage. Also store the keys externally on a USB or some kind of a hardware wallet and put that into your fire and waterproof vault or in your safety deposit box. And finally, name a digital executor for all of it. Give them the authority to manage those assets and explain how you want them to be managed after you're gone.
