Hi, my name is Vanessa. I'm a licensed sex therapist. And here are four signs that your relationship could benefit from couples therapy. Let's start with an obvious one. If it feels like you and your partner just cannot seem to have a conversation without arguing, it's definitely time to find a couples therapist. Number two, if it feels like you and your partner are just not on the same page when it comes to sex, I'm a sex therapist, so I had to throw a sex related one out there. But sex is one of the top three reasons why couples fight and actually break up. So good news is that there are plenty of therapists out there who can help you get back on the same page. Number three, you're about to make a major life change, like moving or having a baby. These kinds of changes can be really disruptive to a relationship. So it's a great idea to just be proactive and seek out therapy before the change. And number four, you want to have a great relationship. We have to get over this idea that you only go to therapy if things are bad or something is wrong in your relationship. Therapy can be way more effective and even fun if you go when you're in a good place.
