Does your partner's dirty talk give you the ick? Get ready with me while we talk about what to do. First of all, we have to normalize that. This is actually a very common issue that comes up in a lot of relationships, and that's because dirty talk is very personal. The specific words and phrases that turn you on might be completely different from the words and phrases that turn your partner on. Let's talk about what not to do. First of all, don't just ignore it. If you truly don't like the dirty talk, it's going to ruin your experience and it may even start to decrease your libido. Also, don't come right out in the moment and tell your partner, your dirty talk is giving me the ick. That's only going to make them feel ashamed and embarrassed. Instead, what you're going to do is casually mention to your partner outside of the bedroom, separate from sex, hey, you know what would turn me on so much? To hear you say, and then give them a specific phrase that you actually would like to hear. And this is really the key. You have to give them something specific to say to you instead. It's just not fair to tell your partner, I don't like that, but not give them any better options. So. So if you're thinking, I don't know any phrases that I actually would like, that is very normal and very common and it is your responsibility to figure out. But the good news is I've got something that'll help. Check out the caption for more details.
