Everyone Who Wants An Orgasm Gets An Orgasm

Everyone who wants an orgasm gets an orgasm. I'm a sex therapist, and this is one of my golden rules for couples. But what do you do if you have an otherwise wonderful kind partner who doesn't know about this rule and isn't exactly following it? And let's be real, it's usually us women who are getting the short end of the stick in male female relationships. If you've never talked about this before, my advice is to give your partner the benefit of the doubt and start off with a really gentle conversation. So if you have been deprioritizing your own pleasure and your own experience, you may have actually trained your partner to ignore your pleasure as well. And they may not even realize that what they're doing isn't exactly desirable. So keep it simple and say something like, hey, you know what I feel in the mood for tonight? An orgasm. Or I would love it if tonight you focused on me first, or even my turn after your partner has had theirs. Or blame it on us. Say, you know, that sex therapist or her husband that I follow, they have this rule that everyone who wants an orgasm gets an orgasm every single time. And I think it sounds pretty fun for us to do.
