Tips for vanilla couples who don't want to be quite so vanilla.
Okay, first of all, there's no shame in being vanilla. We sometimes are too. But if you want to play around with being ever so slightly less vanilla, then we have a tip for you. But first, let's say, hi, my name is Vanessa Marin. I'm a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience.
I'm Xander. I'm her husband.
And together we make content to help couples keep the spark alive in long term relationships. Okay, so here's the tip. Play music during.
Yeah, we've pulled our audience and 69% said they never listen to music during.
Okay, here are some of the reasons why we think you should listen to music during. First of all, being completely silent during is pretty awkward. Music helps create a mood, an environment, an atmosphere. Music can also help you get in the mood. I think we all have at least a couple of songs that just get us feeling the vibe feeling right. So music can help you get excited to be intimate.
And speaking of vibes, music can give you some rhythm to get down to, if you know what I mean.
So if you want to start listening to music during s, you're gonna have to make a playlist, which we think can be really fun and actually very useful too. So in order to create a playlist, you have to talk openly about the fact that you're making a playlist for the two of you to have to. So it forces you to talk about in a roundabout kind of sneaky, but also very positive.
Now, people always tell us that they're worried it's going to feel awkward to put on the playlist, but here's the thing. If you use a playlist, it's going to make you initiate in a more direct way, which we think is actually a good thing. Initiate, put on the playlist, have at it.
Let us know how it goes and follow for more tips like this.
