Fellas, ever feel like your partner is stressed, frustrated, or just over it? You might not even realize it, but you could be unconsciously putting an unfair amount of mental load on her. Hi, I'm Xander. I'm married to a therapist. And together we've made it our life's mission to help couples in long term relationships. Keep the spark alive without the awkwardness or pressure. All right, so let's do a quick check. Ask yourself these three questions. Number one, when something needs to get done at home, do I wait to be asked or do I just handle it? Number two, if I don't know the plan, like what's for dinner or what time the kid's soccer game, or whether we need a gift for that birthday party, do I automatically ask her or do I look for the answer myself? Number three, when my partner talks about feeling overwhelmed, do I listen and then step up or do I tune out and brush it off? If any of these made you think at all, it's probably time to step it up and not just help out, but actually step in and share the load. Because trust me, nothing is less than feeling like a child rather than a partner. Let's do better.
