Vanessa Marin and Xander Marin respond to a debate about whether parents should prioritize kids or their relationship. They highlight a commenter's ''family-focused'' approach where everyone flexes and compromises. How do you make time to connect with your partner?
Posted a reel about the first rule and there was a heated debate in the comments about whether or not this would work for parents.
Some parents in the comments said it's just not realistic.
For them and some parents said they swear by it.
But there was one comment that really stood out to us.
I know it's so easy to get sucked into this debate between do the kids come first or the couple comes first, but I really love the way this commenter phrased it that it's family focused, thinking about the entire family as a unit and how each member of that family needs to flex and compromise and adapt to make sure that everybody's as happy as they can be.
But at the end of the day, it's about finding what works for you.
Okay, for all the parents out there, how do you make time to connect with your partner? Let us know in the comments and let's all learn from each other.
