It was really inspired by working with clients. I was noticing that the ways couples described sex was just so different. One partner would be really pleased and satisfied and excited. The other partner would be feeling kind of disconnected or unsatisfied. And it just got me thinking, like, how can two people who shared the same very intimate experience be talking about what they did together in such deep, different ways? And then I started also thinking about the question, like, what makes sex great? What is it that we're all really looking to experience when we have sex with each other?
