All right, so let's get into it. What exactly do sex dreams really mean? All right, we're gonna give you the most basic answer. Most often, you are probably a little bit horny, and you've maybe not had sex in a little while.
But we decided to consult with some dream experts and ask about, like, the common other people in dreams. Like, what do they mean? So here's what we heard back from dream experts. So let's talk about, like, sex with a friend. This can just be an indication of, like, how close you are with the friend. This is a common theme that you'll see a lot in us talking about. But the sex dreams don't necessarily always mean that there's a sexual vibe between the two of you. It may just mean that you're. The two of you are close. It also might be that your friend has a trait that you wish that you had. Maybe there's a certain way that they show up in the bedroom that you wish you could kind of emulate.
Interesting. All right, so what about sex with an ex? This tends to be just helping you process feel feelings about your ex. Maybe there's some unresolved feelings or something that you got to work through. It might be that you're craving familiarity that that ex might bring for you. It does not mean that you want to rekindle the flame with your ex.
Sex with your boss. What's that one all about?
Oh, boy.
So that can actually symbolize you wanting to grow into leadership qualities. You coming into Your power.
All right, so what about sex with a strange stranger? Well, you might be feeling unsure about your future. It could be symbolizing that this one really is most definitely all about you. Like, we could think about, what does this stranger tell you about how you want to be or what qualities you want to take on?
So that's just kind of some fun insight about some of the potential roles that those other people could be playing. But the main point that we wanted to make in this video is that dreams don't just don't necessarily have some sort of hidden or deeper meaning.
All right, let's get to the million dollar question that we get asked so frequently. Is having a sex dream about somebody other than your partner? Is that cheating? Yeah, we get this question so often, like, oh, I feel like I cheated because I just have a sex dream about my ex, about my boss, about my friend. Do I need to tell my partner?
Okay, so our answer is no. And that's because you don't have control over your dreams. Like, it's not like you're consciously choosing to have this Dre.
Yeah.
It's not an active thing that you're doing, like actually cheating, you know, with that person in real life. So it's sort of like, okay, let's say you have a dream about you robbing a bank. Do you need to call the cops on yourself? Like, no.
Yeah. Should you go to jail?
No.
Look, the bottom line is that sex dreams about another person doesn't necessarily have any deep or hidden meaning about anything. It does not mean that you are in love with someone else. It doesn't mean you're not in love with your partner or that you are actually turned on by somebody else in real life, even if dream it feels like you are.
Yeah. So it can be fun to, like, get a little bit curious about dreams, to want to explore them and see if there's anything that gets stirred up for you. But they don't necessarily have to be these, like, secret keys to what you actually want, what you're actually turned on by. So that wraps up our video on sex dreams.
