Before going fulltime in a van, skip the clothing haul, wait on tech purchases until you're actually living there, and don't stock up on kitchen gadgets. You'll need way less than you think. An air fryer, toaster, and gas kettle cover it.

3 things you do not need to get before you go traveling off full-time. The first, do not spend a lot of money on clothes. Seriously, don't do it. You will wear the same sort of 5 outfits over and over again, and it's quite freeing actually. So yeah, don't do that. Second thing is don't buy a lot of tech until you know what you're going to need. By all means, work a couple of extra months, have the money there in savings, but until you are living full-time in your vehicle, You won't really know what kind of tech upgrades you want to get. So make sure you don't do that before you go. And the third thing I recommend not buying is a load of fancy kitchen gadgets. You do not live and cook in a motorhome or campervan the same way that you do at home. So all the stuff that you love and use at home, you will not use in the motorhome. Case in point, I don't have a dishwasher, and yet at the house, I could not survive without my dishwasher. It's just a totally different way of living. You will wash up So much more than you possibly do at home, and you will use fewer utensils, fewer gadgets, fewer things. I think the only gadgets that I've got is the air fryer, which I adore. I have got a toaster because the grill toast is just not the same, and I think that's it. I might have an electric whisk. That's it. I've got a gas kettle and everything else is just manual, and it, it's really quite freeing. It's part of the lifestyle of keeping everything a little bit simpler, a little bit cheaper, and just little bit easier to use. So don't go waste your money on all of that stuff until you are out there and traveling and you decide you really, really need it. Hope that helps!
