Three ways to empty your portable toilet cassette less often: don't put toilet paper in it, use a pee bottle to keep liquids out, or skip it entirely and use campsite facilities instead.
3 ways to make your toilet cassette last longer between empties. Number 1, don't put any toilet paper down it. So when you have used the toilet and you have some dirty paper, instead of putting it into the cassette, which clogs it up, then you can put it into a little nappy bag or a sack and dispose of that properly in a bin. Number 2 is all about number 2s. If you only use your toilet cassette for number 2s and do your number 1s in a pee bottle, using a SheWee or something like that, then you won't be filling up the cassette with so much liquid, which means that it will last a lot longer before you need to empty it next. And number 3, Is don't use it. You can instead stay on places like campsites that have got proper toilet blocks and you can use their facilities, in which case you don't need to worry about emptying the dreaded toilet cassette. Which are you? Are you number 1, 2, or 3? Let me know in the comments, and if you've got any other good tips, be sure to share them.
