So today I'm doing a thing after the trip to Scotland and my friend's van getting trashed by a mouse. I am mouse-proofing the van. I did a load of research and there's all sorts of devices that you can put in and batteries in your engine bay and stuff, but most people recommended some form of spray. Now there's lots of different types of spray. This was on sale in the Amazon Black Friday deals, so I got a couple of bottles of this and I've just gone around and I have basically sprayed it all over the engine bay. It's not flammable. I did check all around the seals of the doors, anywhere that there's any form of inlet, so the vents, any waste areas, anywhere that a little creepy crawly could come exploring. And hopefully— obviously I've only just used it, I've got no clue if it's going to work or not. I have also removed any food from the bottom levels of the van, so all the dog food, any fresh food— I've left tin food, but any fresh food, anything which might attract certain mice or rodents to the van have been gone. So I will let you know how it goes in a couple of months.
