In this informal vlog, a group of motorhome travelers document a multi‑day road trip across southern England. They begin with an overnight stay at the Littlehampton Caravan & Motorhome Club site, noting the rainy night, the comfort of the floor, and a £15‑per‑night rate. After a walk along the dramatic cliffs of Beachy Head, they drive to Hurstmonceux Castle, marveling at its observatory and historic architecture. The journey continues to the town of Battle, where they discuss the Battle of Hastings, capture drone footage of Battle Abbey, and comment on the surrounding scenery. Their final stop is Hayling Island, where they park overnight for £50, enjoy sunset views, spot many dogs, and eat simple meals like chips and bacon sandwiches. Throughout the vlog they share practical motorhome advice—how to empty grey/black water at campsites for a small fee, the importance of using designated facilities, and observations about weather, vehicle condition, and campsite amenities. The overall tone is upbeat and conversational, offering both travel inspiration and hands‑on tips for fellow motorhome enthusiasts.

We're supposed to be going to the beach.
I'm not sure we're gonna go to the beach.
Look!
Hey guys, we spent last night at Littlehampton Caravan and Motorhome Club site. I can never say that— the Caravan and Motorhome Club site. And it's raining, it's been raining most of the night, but it's still a really pretty site, so I'll show you around. Around to play with.
Oh.
There we go.
I hope you found that tour useful, and if you ever get a chance to visit the Littlehampton site, we highly recommend it. Good morning, Cherub.
Morning.
What, what's wrong with the actual seats?
The heat is here, so it's warmer.
Is it comfy?
Yeah.
So Swift have a comfortable floor?
Yeah.
Good to know.
10 out of 10 would stay on the floor again.
What are you reading?
Although I'm hesitant to ask this question.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Okay then. I'm not there yet!
Shh!
It's a metre!
So we've just had a lovely walk on Beachy Head, and now we're parked up and gonna go have a wander around Hurstmonceux Castle, which looks incredible on the photos. So looking forward to that. Oh, that's the observatory! Wow!
Oh wow, look at them!
Yeah, that's cool.
So we saw the castle and now we are going to battle, which is at the Battle of Hastings over there. Um, we're on quite a busy main road actually, so hopefully I hope you can hear me all right. And we are going to go and— probably not going to go in Battle Abbey, but we're going to go and try a little sneaky drone shot of the abbey and then find somewhere to stay for the night.
I think it was named Battle because of the Battle of Hastings.
I think Hastings was Hastings.
Yes, because it was the Battle of Hastings.
Yeah, but what they did was they built this abbey And they called it Battle Abbey.
That's the wall, that's the church.
Yeah, the abbey's just here on the left, but I'm not sure.
This is where the battle was.
This is the site of the battle. Yeah, I was throwing it down.
Yes, it says parking.
Let's see what we get.
Oh, that's really pretty.
How cute is Battle?
Oh, that's lovely.
Oh wow, that's a big abbey. It's a big abbey. Yeah, look at that. Yeah, I don't know where we're going to fit there.
Look at the state of our poor van.
Why is she so dirty?
We've been, we've been all over the place, but oh bless her, she's thank you.
Hi, you can see there. He's hiding.
Yeah.
We're going for some chips.
We're going for some chips.
Go on then.
Say bye!
So we're at Hayling Island at a car park where we're allowed overnight parking. It's £50 a night and we are parked up. As you can see, we've got the sunset going on behind me. I'll see you tomorrow.
Hi!
Hi!
Are you quite happy there?
Are we all snuggled up in the blanket?
What do we think of Hayling Island?
It's pretty when it's not raining.
When it's not raining or really windy.
Yeah, but there are lots of pretty dogs.
Yeah, there's lots of cute dogs.
We like the cute dogs. Would we stay here again?
Uh, yeah.
Yeah, it was good, wasn't it?
It was quite nice and flat. £15 for a night.
Look, there's a thumb, there's a thumb!
Awesome, JD seal of approval.
What are we gonna do now?
Um, eat food.
We are gonna eat bacon sandwiches.
Good. Then what are we gonna do?
Go home?
No, I've got to go find a campsite first and empty all our waste and water and toilet and fun things. Then go home.
Then go home. Okay then.
Hey, the island, I quite like that.
That was good.
That was a nice spot.
That was a good £15 a night. What was it normally in the campsite?
On an aire, it's about the same.
That's okay, it'll be nice. Yeah.
We're in a little campsite and we're on our way heading back to the boat, so we need somewhere to empty out our waste. and any excess water that we've got and empty out our toilet waste. So we've popped into a little campsite and for a couple of quid they have allowed us to use their facilities, which is really kind of them. And we've done this all over the place and we haven't had an issue yet. So that's how we get rid of it and we don't have to worry about trying to do it in a public toilet or hide our grey waste somewhere random.
We are yet to find a campsite that hasn't allowed that.
A couple have been a bit shocked and surprised that we've asked, but you know, I think we've paid anywhere between £3 and £7.
If you've got any questions, leave them below. Until next time, bye!
