If you're cleaning your motorhome, here's some tips to make the process just a little bit easier. Firstly, start on the roof. I know it's a pain to get up there, but you don't want to clean the rest of your van and have everything off there, make it all dirty again. Maybe try use a lorry or a truck wash. They often have a gantry so you can get right up on the top there. Also, if you have a solar panel or anything else up there that's got a really thin gap, use one of those radiator pads, the really thin ones. You can get right underneath and get rid of any grime or dirt. For your windows, make sure you use a damp And a really clean cloth. Make sure it's not been used anywhere else, so no dirt's been picked up from it. That's what causes scratches. And for those dreaded black marks that are the bane of all of our lives, they're caused by the seals breaking down. The dirt and the algae builds up, but also the seal itself deteriorates, hence the black streaks. To stop that, or at least slow down the deterioration, use a silicone cream. You wipe that over the seals after you've cleaned it, and that should slow it all down for you. I hope you found those useful. If you'd like some more, the link is in the notes.
