A tour of Printful's embroidery facility shows how a custom Adidas half-zip hoodie gets made in an hour. The process uses hooping, digital design loading, and three types of stabilizers to hold the stitching in place. Each garment runs on its own single-head machine, so four beanies with different designs can embroider at the same time.

I'm at Printful. We are in their facility and they're going to show us exactly how they go about processing print-on-demand orders. These are the mockups for the white Adidas half zip. This is the final result. So we're working with an Adidas top. Shanice is going to show us how to hoop.
Then I'm going to use 2 tearaway and 1 cutaway to make sure the print is at the correct spot.
So now it's been hooped and it's ready to be embroidered.

So for the most part, it's one unit at a time. Right now there's 4 beanies running, but all 4 beanies are operating on a different design because these are all single head machines.
