Two denim experts discuss experimental Italian finishes: Croco Mood, a paste that creates a leather-like serpentine texture, and Resimax Double, a double-dyeing system layering yellow over brown for a two-tone effect. The result is denim that mimics leather with a white interior.
I don't know. So why does it smell so fresh?
This is croco mood. Croco mood is a paste that you put on the garment to get this special effect, and you get this effect like a serpentine.
This one, this one stands out to me.
It's a double, double because you have two dyeing. This is yellow, this is brown. You use a product called Resimax Double, enable you to get a double dyeing effect.
These practically look like they're leather, but they're not. It's denim, and I'm noticing it's white denim specifically on the inside. There's a specialty coating. How did you achieve this?
We achieved this with a special coating effect called Coatex. After that, you use an end modifier chemical called Emulsione PL.
