A fabric bonding machine uses heat-activated adhesive to fuse two fabric layers into one structured material. The adhesive layer is cut to match the internal shape, fed through the machine at high temperature, and emerges as a unified piece.
Chapters
Right now we're standing in front of a bonding machine. So what this does is it combines two fabrics. It's very, very hot and it's even hotter in there. And so this process takes a base fabric which is used as adhesive. It's also used to provide the main fabric with structure. So in this particular case, we can see that over here the adhesive fabric is cut to follow the internal part of the main fabric and it's going to be placed onto the machine, and over here we see them coming out one by one. And when we take it off, now it's one consistent fabric. They are bonded together till death do them part.
