holiday 2015 dime collection pickups

YouTube, what's good? It's Fisherman99. And yesterday I was at the pop-up shop for Dime MTL. Uh, they were releasing their new collection. If you guys want to cop some pieces, I'll leave a link to their website below. There's not that many things left online besides the big sizes. And I think a few smalls, uh, most of their stuff sold out. This new collection was unbelievable and I, I just wanted to make sure that I didn't miss any of it. So I literally got all of the pieces I wanted. I met up with Kyren over at Bronze Witch Productions. He was there. A couple of my boys were there too. It was just a really, really awesome little wait. I wouldn't even consider it a campout. I just went like an hour before. But Kyren, of course, always cool. Kyren fucks with Dime heavy, by the way. Kyren for Dime 2015. Hashtag that shit. But anyways, let's get into the pickups and I'll show you guys how they look on. All of the merchandise came in this nice little Dime bag. When they did their previous pop-up for the Vans, the Dime Vans, which I did do a review of, I'll leave right here. They did a special bag for Nelson. It was a much bigger beige bag and said Dime and Vans. I don't have it with me. It's, uh, elsewhere. But anyways, enough about the bag. Um, let's start getting into the pickups. Everything came in a plastic, but a few pieces I took out because like I already wore early. So this is the first pickup right here. Uh, the quarter zip. This was an absolute must for the season. Um, the quarter zips are always like the most hype pieces. Um, well, they just started doing them, I wanna say last season or this season, but Cours. I'm not 100% sure, but yeah, this is a really, really dope piece. It has jersey on the inside. And by the way, for those of you who are going to ask, all of it fits true to size. The sweaters are— the hoodies are a bit big, but I was speaking to Vincent, the owner, and he explained to me that the hoodies shrink a lot in the wash, so it'll fit fine in the long run. Let me show you guys how this looks on. So yeah, this is what the piece looks like on. I posted on Instagram yesterday. I have to make sure to flex because I was one of the first few with them. Of course, only people in Montreal would have them right away because the pop-up was in Montreal. Um, but yeah, pretty basic piece, but it's just a really, really nice piece. It's a nice finish, a little clean diamond embroidery in white. The collar's looking real nice. Just an overall really, really nice piece. So glad I picked this up. I believe these are sold out. Uh, I'll— if I find a link for any of these pieces or if they're still available on the website, I'll link that all down below in the description. The next piece was this, uh, Dime MTL hoodie. Uh, it was the olive hoodie and I think this is one of the fastest pieces to sell out alongside the quarter zip and a couple of t-shirts. Um, but this is just very, very basic olive hoodie. It's got a nice thick fleece. It's going to be great for winter, black print. Let's try it on. Very clean, clean piece. It does fit a little bit big, but like I said, they do shrink a lot in the wash and it'll fit much nicer. This is a medium, by the way, and I always wear medium and everything. I'm a very true medium and yeah, it's a little bit big fitting, but it'll be fine. Very clean piece. Simple. I never really rocked olive, but yeah, it's a dope piece. I was actually about to get the olive quarter zip from the previous season and the fact that it was olive kind of drew me away, but I said I'd try something out with this and like, you really have to experiment to know what you like. And you know what? I think I'm starting to like it. So I do regret a little bit on passing up on the olive quarter zip, but I made up for it with the black quarter zip. Let's get into the next piece. So next up are all the t-shirts. The first t-shirt is the black long sleeve. Let me take it out of the packaging for you guys. Very, very simple piece. Just a black long sleeve printed on a basic t-shirt. White Dime logo. Not much to say about it, but I think Dime is definitely known for their basic clean pieces. And I don't know if you guys saw the tee rotation video, link it over here. But like, I have 5 classic logo tees. And guess what? I got even more with this collection. And this is not the only one. Let me get into that. And so of course, I picked up the light blue and the gray classic Dime logo tees. I guess I'll try them on for you guys. So I'm already putting everything else on. So here's the light blue classic logo tee, very clean, basic. And here's the gray, same thing, white logo, classic logo tee. It's a must, especially for me since I'm always collecting these tees from every season. On to the next piece. Alright, so the next piece I picked up is the, uh, You Should Quit Skating tee. It's not really much if I show you in its packaging because the front is basic, the back is the dope part. So the front has the, uh, Dime logo logo in navy. And the back has the, uh, You Should Quit Skating graphic. Really, really dope. This was an absolute must. Let's try this on for you guys. So here it is. It's like this nice off-white-ish yellow color. Very, very clean and basic in the front. Dime. But it's more of a summer t-shirt because in the summer you don't wear like layers over, so you're able to show off the back. And check out the back, of course. You should quit skating. Dope graphic. Let's move on the next piece. So the next piece is the Dime Nose Picking Tee, and this is one of the fastest t-shirts to sell out. There was very high demand for this. This t-shirt I found extremely dope, and it's, it's really Dime sticking to their roots with this one. It's a very Dime-like design. Okay, so here it is, the Dime Nose Picking Tee. Really, really dope. I love the color they use for this t-shirt. It's like a white-gray mix. What I really love about this graphic is how everything is like malaligned, so like the blue and the beige is a little bit delayed. On the blackout line. It looks really, really sick. They use a nice, like, uh, clean font. I found it worked well with the t-shirt. Yeah, that's pretty much the last t-shirt. So that sums up all my Dime pickups. I'm thinking of going back to the popup tomorrow and getting the black hoodie as well, but I'll have to see. I already picked up 7 pieces from this season. It's a lot.
