how to lace jordan 1s + on feet (breds, royals)

FisherMy99 shows two ways to lace Jordan 1s cleanly. The bunny ears method creates a tidy loop pattern, while the second technique adds an extra pass through the eyelet for a sleeker finish. Both are shown on feet with Royals and Breds.

What is up, YouTube? It's FisherMy99, and today I'm bringing you guys a much simpler video. I'm actually doing a Jordan 1 lacing tutorial. I frequently get asked how I, how I lace my shoes so cleanly. I'm just going to show you guys on like the most basic, most basic model, you know, Jordan 1s. Like so many people I know have a pair and they're just so rockable. And there's so many different ways of lacing them. I'm going to show you guys 2 different ways of lacing them. Behind me, I have my Jordan 1 Royals. Which are already laced up in like the way I like to rock them. And over here I have my factory-laced bread ones. I actually cut off the lace bag for you guys and they're literally like never even been undone or anything, completely DS. And so this is really starting from scratch. So like for anybody watching who is yet to undo their shoes, you know, this is, this is a exactly where you're going to be starting. So without further ado, let's get right into it. Alright, so your, your Jordan 1 High OGs, like the 2013 ones, 2014 ones, whatever, are typically going to come factory-laced like this, right? It's very tight around here. It's going to come with this piece, you can go ahead and remove that. Whip out the laces. Take that out. And then you have this little factory lace knot, you can go ahead and undo that and just pull on the two, on the two lace tips. So then you're going to be stuck with this. So what you want to do, what I like to do anyways, is I like to take out the laces from these two second to top holes because it just makes it overall a lot easier to work with. So once I get to here, I'm going to pull these enough so it leaves just a bit of slack. And ideally it's like, it's pretty even on each side. So that's about right. And the reason I leave that slack is like in case I pull too hard. So then I'm going to start progressively just moving down the shoes and kind of just pulling up on the laces and loosening the sides up. And in doing this, it's going to loosen up the shoes and I'm kind of just going to repeat this process. And what I like to do is take my hand, put it behind the tongue and push upwards. And what that does is it stretches out the laces and it makes them even, and it shows you where there's just too much slack. So like over here, for example, sticking out too much, so I'm gonna pull in a bit. And I essentially just keep repeating that process until I come to a nice even distribution. Okay, so you're gonna get to this point here. I'm gonna show you guys the first the first lace job I do with them. So from this point, you could just slip them on your foot and you could do a very basic, very basic bunny, bunny, bunny loops as I like to call them, I guess. And you get something really clean like that. Now it's nice, clean, basic. And I'll show you guys how these look on feet. And so right now they look really weird, right? Because they're bulging in the middle. But once you actually put them on your foot, um, you can like kind of, um, pull the laces and adjust the laces to the shape of your foot and the shoe's gonna mold to your foot better and they're gonna look 10 times cleaner. So that's the first look. So look, these Royals I've already worn, right? And you could see how nicely it's molded to, um, to the tongue and look how clean this lace job is. The second one, sorry, I already have the shoe loosened up for you guys. So we're essentially doing the same thing, but instead of doing the bunny ears, we're going to go through one more hole. So the hole that it was originally factory laced in, and we're going to go from the inside to out, and we're going to leave just a tiny, tiny bit of lace hanging. Then you pop that on foot, and that's also a super, super clean look. Without further ado, I'm going to show you guys what they look on feet. Alright guys, so that basically sums up this Jordan 1 lacing tutorial. I know it's a very self-explanatory video, you know, like lacing shoes, everybody knows how to do it. Do that. But you'd be surprised how frequently I get asked, how do I lace my shoes? And I thought I'd do it on the Jordan 1s because that's just a very common model. It was actually really nice unboxing these and I can't wait to break these out in the summer. But until next time, Fisherman99, I'm out. Peace.
