So we're back at it with another video, and today I'm doing the review to get all you hypebeasts crazy. The Jordan 1 Royals.

Royals, royals. It's crazy.

I mean, these right here, this is kind of like borderline what started it all for me. I mean, I'd say it's the Bred 1s. Bred 1s, like, just like, I'd take Bred 1s over these any day. And I'll do a review of those eventually. I have those too. But, um, they're just super wearable with anything. I mean, like, Ones are just by far, in my opinion, the best silhouette.

Best Jordan silhouette for sure. And you know, like, I, I have all the Breds, like the Bred 4s and, and all of those, and I've owned all the 11s. And like, like, to me, like, these just, like, even though they're super basic, they're the best silhouette. And like, they stay— they still maintain the, uh, lowest price tag on Ones. On Jordans, sorry. So that's like, uh, super, super chill.

But not resale for these though, because it's ridiculous right now.

Yeah, so like, I, I picked these up, um, right around when they came out, and, um, I didn't pay retail. I paid like a bit over retail, but it was whatever. And I just wore them, and then like out of nowhere, like, resale started to shoot up. I'm just like, hey, whatever, like, I got my pair to wear, you know. I wasn't in it to resell. And then like Just today, like, I was getting just crazy offers shot to me for these because I just posted a picture of these, like, and, um, it was, it was insane. So like, I guess I could say that I'm happy to own a pair, but like, it doesn't, you know, it doesn't make a difference for me. Like, these aren't going anywhere for a while unless like I really, I really want to acquire something like a bigger grail or whatever.

Yeah, exactly. Like, for me, like, with the The same similar story to him, but like me, in my case, I don't really have them. I have the Breds and I have the Shadows. Yeah, that's the box for the original Nike box. But for me, I don't really, I don't have a pair of Royals and I need them. Anyone out there size 11, hit me up.

I need these. Crazy. I only have the Breds and the Shadows and everyone that knows me, I'm a big 1s fan.

So like, but hold it on the on the loop, you know.

Yeah, for real, man. No, no rate prices. This is, yo, like, I'm not trying to go to Flight Club if I'm rich one day, but like, Flight Club is like, they want to stock for these right now. It's ridiculous.

Yeah, man, like, honestly, it's, it's a really nice shoe, but like, what I, what I see them going for, like, even like, I can't believe it. I'm just like, wow.

I would picture the, the Breds being worth more than the Royals at this point, but it's the Royals are taking the icing on the cake right now as far as that price tag is.

So I don't know, like, to me it's just like, because like Breds are actually, uh, the last shoe I camped out for. Yeah, and I met him there. Yeah, exactly. And like, you know, like we're just talking about sneakers and like red ones are just like such a, like, such a, like, iconic, like, such a wearable sneaker. And I feel like, I feel like black and red goes better than black and blue.

Of course.

And like that will like apply to most people, you know. And Breds are just, in my opinion, more wearable than these because these are like very like dark gloomy colors, but they're great for like fall, for example. Basic review, they're just blue outsoles, white midsole, and black and blue uppers. Real basic. And, uh, what I like about these, unlike the Breds and the Shadows, they have the nylon tongue which doesn't crease up as much.

Yeah, it looks— it's like, it feels way more comfortable also too.

Yeah, exactly. But, um, I, I feel as though with Ones, like, they're just nicer when you just beat the shit out of them, you know? Like, like, it's a shoe that just needs to be beat. Like, when I see a deadstock pair and like somebody trying to resell, I'm just like, yo, just wear them, man.

Yeah, or give them to me. Like, what the hell? Like, you— I don't know, you need to beat Ones. Like, it's same thing with like Converse. You can't keep them deadstock. You have to beat beat them once, you have to beat them.

It's just, it's just a shoe that's meant to be worn. That's really what it is. And like, that, that's why like even like people who are like, for example, just like Kyren, like he's into like a lot of like higher end, like, you know, you can check out his channel, he's like into a lot of higher end stuff, you know, like just the Geo baskets he just picked up.

Yeah, the Rick Owens, like those are like shoes that like if you keep them deadstock, they're gonna look kind of weird, like clown shoes. Like if you have like, it adds character to them, like as beat your shoes. And that's not just like someone being like, oh, like, I beat them, and then like, oh, it now has character. Like, it's something that it's better.

That's, that's, that's the whole thing with Ones, you know? Like, it's like even like people who are into higher fashion like that will still wear the Ones even though it's a sneaker that retails like, what, $150 or something like that, just because like they have, they have that look to them, you know? And like, yeah, they are meant to be beat, you know? Like, that's how they're gonna look the dopest.

You see, even with like these, like first time I remember like even watching them is like watching old skateboarding videos and like people riding pools and like wearing the Royals and I'd be like, yo, those like, that's really sick. Like people used to wear Jordans and like ones to like skate in and like that's where the Lance Mountain concept came out.

It's about to pull that. Yeah, exactly.

It's really dope to see that because like coming from like that background, like I used to skate and like BMX and stuff like that. So like to doing the Royals and like picking up the Royals would be like a smarter idea for me, just having that in mind. And also that just wear your shoes, man. Like they look, they still look dope even if you beat them up.

Okay. So like that, that pretty much sums up the review. I showed you guys the box briefly, but here it is again. It's just the, it's like a remake of the OG box, which is a really nice touch by Nike. Not to mention the Nike tag. On the tongue, and then no Jumpman in the back, keeping it OG, which I really liked. And that's kind of where I think the hype got built. Um, basic tag, like, like the OG everything, black and red box. And, uh, these did come with the extra royal laces, but fuck that, you know, if you wear them, if you wear them, man, you're just a clown. Besides that, It's Link Swish God, AKA Fisherman99.
