Yo, what's up YouTube? It's LaneSwitchGod with a video today of the Nike SB Free Flyknit Mercurials. These released February 14th. 2015. I picked up the grey pair, but they released alongside an obsidian colorway, and they also released alongside the Magistas in a blue, whitish grey, and a black colorway. So let's hop right into it. So they come in this cocaine white Nike box, the plastified Nike swoosh and Nike on top logo. At the front, at the back side of the box, right side of the box, and left side of the box. The front reads on the tag, which is slightly red and slightly orange, I can't really tell, Nike Free Flyknit Mercurial SP. These are size 9.5 and the colorway is dark grey, wolf grey, and SMMT white. I am not sure what that is, but you guys can let me know in the comments. I picked these up at Off the Hook last Saturday for retail. Shout out to the crew there. You guys are running a fucking amazing store. So let's hop right into the shoes. So here they are. And I must say, these are fucking beautiful. I really can't wait to rock these. But the weather in Montreal, which is where I live, if you didn't know, it's a fucking disaster right now. Snow, slush everywhere. I'm just rocking my Timbs every day. But hopefully sooner or later, I'll be wearing these bad boys. So enough of that. But shoes, to start off at the bottom, They're composed of Nike Free 5.0 outsole, which is featured on most of the running models today in Nike. Well, at least the recent ones anyways. And the upper is composed primarily of a Flyknit, which is 3 of the following colors: white, wolf grey, and a charcoal. The back, the heel, is composed of a very, very nice buttery long hair suede in charcoal. The top is more elastic-y, super comfortable. On the side, you can kind of see the beginning of the Nike Classified swoosh, which is a super nice touch and what really got me in love with these. So let's look at the front of the shoes. So featured are some thin, slightly different colored lace, slightly different shade. Of gray thin flat laces. You can see the front of the sole a tiny bit, and if I lean the shoes forward, you can really see that swoosh kick in right there. The tongue is composed of a tab right here, and it has the Nike swoosh, which is a super nice touch in my opinion. So the medial side is symmetrical to the lateral side, other than the swoosh right here, which is embossed in the long-haired suede. Again, the back is composed of the heel long-haired suede, really nice. Then you got a slightly shorter-haired suede, which is leading up to the top of the heel. You have your heel tab, which is stitched on top of that, and you can see the elastic-y gray material at the back. So that basically sums up the review of the Nike Free Flyknit Mercurial SP. This is the grey colorway. I'd really like to obtain the Obsidian colorway one day if I can, but for the prices these are going for, we'll see. So these were inspired by the Nike Free 5.0 and the soccer cleat, the Mercurial. So that basically sums it up. Until next time. Lane Switch God, I'm out. Peace.
