Will Larsy unboxes the Packer x Asics Gel-Lyte III "Dirty Buck," one of only 100 special-packaged pairs. The box includes a laser-etched brush, wooden shoe trees with gold branding, checkered socks, and extra laces. The shoe features an infrared-raspberry midsole, dull gray nubuck upper, and gold laser details on the split tongue.
What is up, YouTube? It's Fisherman99, and today I'm bringing you guys probably my craziest pickup of 2015 thus far. And the fact that I was able to find the even more limited edition of them, because they're limited to 1990 pairs, and I got the 1 out of 100 packaging with them was really insane. So I'm really happy to show you guys these. So the limited edition packaging for these, well, there was only 100 of them, and the first 100 people in line at Packer got them. And so So over here, lasered in, it says Packer Asics. Then on the size tag, we have written Packers Bros since 1907. That's when they first opened their store. And we have the size crossed off. So I could probably make an entire other video on just the extras that this limited packaging comes with because they're so crazy. But I'm just going to do it all in one video, obviously. So let me show you guys. So first up, we have this very, very plain dust bag. Nothing too special. Just a cream off-white color dust bag with gray strings. Next, we have this brush that has Packer lasered in. Very soft hair, it's good for the nubuck on them. Moving on, we have this shoehorn and lasered in it says Packer. Kind of useless but really cool. Then of course, with all Asics, there's extra laces. These came with some off-white cream laces with silver tips and some super thin rope laces in that same off-white cream color. Next, we have, and always, always a really nice touch when I get some socks with my shoes. So these socks have this sort of like checkered print in gray, orange, and burgundy, and they have this little teal hit at the bottom, burgundy at the back, gray at the front. And the craziest extra of all, in my opinion, is these shoe trees. They are insane, I can tell you that. They have like this, uh, very, very nice wood, and, uh, they feature like this, these gold hits and lasered in it says Packer Asics, and then at the bottom of the left shoe tree it says Conquerors. In the bottom of the right shoe tree, it says T-Neck. Really, really awesome. Moving into the moment we've all been waiting for, the Packer x Asics Gel-Lyte 3 Dirty Bug. This shoe right here is probably my favorite Gel-Lyte 3 since the Knicks and Miamis, um, and probably my favorite Asics since the Volcanoes. The Metas were a really close second, and I do have those. If you want to see a video of those, let me know in the comments. But the color blocking on these kind of reminds me of the Saint Alfred Gel Lite 3s, and these are just super fire. So the entire bottom midsole/outsole is this like infrared raspberry sort of color, and then the entire upper is this like dull-colored gray nubuck. Moving into the upper, we also have this tan-colored heel cup slash piece in the midsole. We have this white leather tongue with these white eyelets, brown Packer branding in this tan leather stitched into the tongue. Of course, we have the signature split tongue of the Gel-Lyte 3. We have this tan-colored liner, and on the inside it says Packer Asics in that same gold lasering as the box. We have at the back a— the infrared midsole/outsole, the heel cup in tan. We have this grey nubuck. Then we have this tan leather hit over here that says GEL embossed. Then we have this grey piece and the tan leather finishes off leading into the liner. You have these 3M hits around the toe wrap, signature of the Gel-Lyte 3, and we have this Packer branding embossed also, where Gel-Lyte III would usually be written. Really, really nice touch.
