An Italian company built a machine to make down products from scratch, starting experiments years before production began in 2015. The factory sits in Abruzzo. It took three months to assemble the machine and get the washing process right.
Actually, we decided to have a completely made in Italy product.
What was the process in coming up with this product? We started in 2015 with the production, but the trials for this product start years before. When we arrived with the machine, we took 3 months to assemble the machine, and after we start with the first sample washing test. First to explain what is the new product, what is evolution, what is difference between a normal down.
We decided to plant the factory here in Abruzzo. Process is covered by patent, it's our own technology that we developed, and the product is a trademark and a product at the same time. So this is how we started to market it.
