Luxury shoemakers use a €100,000 machine to heat leather uppers, making them soft enough to stretch onto a last. The heated leather is then stamped and shaped by a Blade Runner machine to create the final shoe form.

This is a stretch machine that costs €100,000. This is the most expensive machine we have in here. The uppers are heated up in this machine. The reason they heat up the leather is because it's much more malleable and much more stretchable when it's hot. From there, it goes into the Blade Runner machine after it's been mounted to the last and lasting board. The goal of this machine is to actually attach this lasting board we saw in the previous step to the uppers of the shoes. Right now, we see that the machine is stamping down the shoe, stretching the other and mounting it to the lasting work. That's to do like this. Okay, the process is perfect.
