A tech pack is the detailed blueprint factories need to make clothes right. It covers patterns, stitching, sizing, and fit specs. Without one, you pay for bad samples and have no way to hold the factory accountable.
What is a tech pack and why is it so important? It's a blueprint for how to put together your garments. An incredible tech pack will allow a factory to make a pattern for you. It also determines the type of stitching you're going to use, what kind of embellishments do you want, how big your screen print is going to be, how big is your hoodie, what kind of fit do you want it to have, and more. A great tech pack will save you lots of money because your sample will only be as good as your tech pack. If your factory screws up on anything, you can always refer back to the tech pack and say, hey, that was there, so you need to do it again, and they won't charge you a second time.
