Two speakers examine 1,000 vintage Talon press zippers from the 1940s-50s bought from now-closed factories in the 1980s. At $10 per piece, the stash could be worth $100,000 to repair shops. These zippers are nearly impossible to find anymore.
This is like $100,000 of like zippers just sitting around.
Yeah, vintage Talon zipper, um, from the '40s, '50s, and we collected these over the years. This kind of press zippers are extremely rare to find and to produce as well.
How much are these like zippers worth each?
Depends on, you know, who's buying these. At a repair shop, I wouldn't be surprised if I see one for like $10.
And how many do you think are here?
This is 1,000, so I don't know. I think these were bought in the '80s. From, uh, factories that went out of business.

Yeah.
I created a Patreon to give you access to exclusive factories. They work with world-class brands and have very little capacity, so I'm limiting access to my patrons. Link is in my bio.
