A factory worker explains why they show up: seeing customers happy with products they helped make, and knowing their colleagues and their families depend on them. They see themselves as a caretaker, not just a worker.
What keeps you motivated to keep coming in and doing this every single day? It's a mix. Big part of this, of course, is our customers. When customers are happy, I see that what I developed as just an idea has, like, success in selling, I'm the happiest guy in the world. The other 50%, it comes from the people where I work with. See the people that I work with happy, they come to work smiling, maybe their family is also involved in something, I'm really happy. You know, when I go to sleep, I'm making something good. I'm not just working in a factory, I'm the guy that takes care of all those people that's sitting better. Like a lot.
