A coaching conversation led by Will Humphreys with participants (including Avi) about motivating teams to embrace company growth. Emphasizes establishing purpose, vision, and values so growth is seen as mission-driven rather than a ‘stat push’. Includes a concrete example vision: an ideal private clinic in Atlanta with eight therapists, ~440 visits per week, and ~4,500 sq ft.

About everything. Avi, is that like, as you're looking at your current plan, I want to validate what you're doing because the foundation is the most essential. Establishing the purpose, vision, values is going to give reason why you're doubling and tripling your growth. Because if your existing team just sees the growth, especially if they're not tied to it financially, it's going to look like a stat push. It's going to look like, hey, I want to double and it just looks like money hungry. And its perception is everything. When you come in and say, I believe we stand against a broken healthcare system to help as many people as we can, here's how many, then it goes to vision at the end. I want to. And so now that you've got some material around this, you know what I would love to see, guys? I'd like to see the ultimate clinic in Atlanta. A private non chain that has eight therapists treating 440 visits a week and 4,500 square feet with the best equipment and the best.
People get freaked out about that and guess what?
Then they're gonna go back and double and triple.
And instead of it looking like a.
Stat push, it looks like a purpose driven mission.
Cool.
And then they start, you know what.
Else we could do and you know what else? And then finally you're just like, okay.
You guys got it. What do I know?
I'm the guy who loves you guys and that's awesome.
And I'm glad that like, thank you for like.
Not just validating what I was thinking but like actually like putting it into words so I can understand.
Like what I was thinking.
Because like I keep thinking like, okay.
Is this, does this make sense?
Like, should I just kind of like not be hiring right now? Because I'm like focusing and like I know I want to hire at some point but like I really want to focus on the team and I want.
To build that team purpose. But like what you just said, like that completely makes like it just, you have to do it that way. It wrote the story for me.
So now I can like tell myself.
This is, this is why I'm doing these things. And it has to go this way in order to do it or it's going to happen. What you just said, it's just going to seem like we're just pushing growth for money or whatever and not for actual purpose.
