A physical therapist argues that PTs underestimate how much money they need to make an impact. The profession treats sales and marketing as dirty, but without them you burn out and help fewer patients, not more.
I've had it. There is something so sick to think that you have to make less money in order to help more people in physical therapy. The truth of the matter is, my friends who make the most money have the biggest impact on their patients and in the industry because they have the fuel to make decisions, to move the needle. So if you're in this mindset that you can't make a lot of money in order to help your patients, you're going to burn out. You're going to leave the profession. You want to double down on this profession by investing in what you don't know. Leadership, marketing, sales. Once you do that, you can write your own ticket and improve your patient experience.
