This is a YouTube video titled "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBmnBTNM_AI" containing a monologue or personal reflection recorded on August 4, 2025. The speaker discusses their experience with coaching, realizing through a test that one-on-one coaching drains their energy, whereas teaching groups energizes them more. The content focuses on personal insights about energy sources and career direction.
So as I've gone into my world of like identifying what gives me energy, that alone has freed me up mentally. I used to do a lot of coaching. When I first sold my private practice, I started a billing company and I started coaching people because that's just a natural progression and I knew I'd be very good at it. And I had this dream of being famous in a way of like, not famous, but like having this large clientele base and being this big impactful coach. And guess what? I was really good at it. This isn't. I mean, there's a lot of things I suck at, but like that I was really good at it, but I felt horrible. And it took. I did this for three years. I remember having a day where I had back to back coaching clients and I'd go home and tell my wife that I am just drained. Maybe my testosterone is low, like something was wrong with me. And then I took the six working geniuses test and realized that I don't get energy from coaching one on one. As a matter of fact, it's. It's one of my sabotages. So when I realized that what I do get energy from is galvanizing or, or teaching groups of people, which again, I didn't think there was a big difference between the two, but boy, is there.
