Jo’s take on becoming a virtual assistant

Joe, how have you personally grown from being a VA the outside of money? Like, of course you have way better like balance with your kids and like of course the money's better. But like what's, what's some how have you grown as a person during this journey?

I was a VA for the first months that I entered Virtual Rockstar. During that time, I get to have a conversation with my business owner, the client or the clinic owner. It felt like I was not just an employee to her. I felt that I am contributing to her business, that my ideas are being seen, my suggestions are being taken seriously. That's something. It gives me a butterfly noise just talking about it. It's because I haven't experienced that kind of boss and employee relationship before. My owners, Steve and Irene, they have their confidence in me. They would give me authority to make decisions in my level in my department. And that's something that is very empowering as a virtual assistant.
