Hello and welcome to the profitable pt. As always, I'm Will Humphries here helping you increase your income, profits and net worth. Today I'm making a video for leaders and employers who struggle with recruiting. Recruiting for sure is something that I can relate to. My first company was out in the boondocks of Arizona. People had to drive past dozens of other employers to come and work for me. And let me tell you, it was by far my greatest weakness as an employer. I used to hire based off the fog mirror rule. If someone could fog a mirror, I would hire them. So basically, if they had a pulse, they could join my team. And that ultimately created a culture that almost destroyed me. More on that later. But for now, I want to share with you the top three things that everyone can do. And it's where we should start in the recruiting development process to finding a players. The goal is to create a bench of a players that always want to join our team. When we as employers can create that bench, oh man, we can do unbelievably good things. So ultimately, how do we start the process? Well, these steps are the most important steps in the process. And if you hear this wrong, it's not going to land like a tactical approach. But let me assure you how our mindset is greatly determines the outcome. So the very first thing we do is we start with a clear intention. I can't tell you how many times I've coached clinical directors or company owners over the years of both small and big companies and heard them say the following. Man, it's really hard for me to recruit because of X, Y and Z. Yeah, we all have excuses as to why we can believe why we fail at recruiting. But let me assure you, anyone can recruit. If I can do it, I promise you, you can. The first thing is setting an intention in your mind that it's not hard. I know that might feel like impossibility right now because you created a story that actually feels true to you. But let me assure you, you can do it. If you believe that it is easier or easy to find a players, you will in fact find it easier to make a players. Now, once we get from that place, we have to get to a place of visualization. Once we can hope to believe that we can attract those types of people to our company, we need to be real specific in visualizing who we're looking for. I like to get real specific. What's their age, gender, skill set, type, what kind of future do they want to have in my company as I even give them a name. I give them my avatar name. These are fake individuals that I put in my mind and then I try to write my programs, my advertisements geared towards that person. I can tell you that makes a huge difference on the receiving end of those advertisements. But the more specific we can be in our visualization, I promise you, the more the universe wants those people to be on your team. But first, we have to believe in ourselves. Secondly, we got to visualize them. And third, we got to go to work. What is it about our particular circumstance that needs to shift in order to attract the A players? Now, the good news is there are three programs I did in a previous video that I'll put in the description down below of what every company should have to attract A players. One of those three programs, I guarantee, will at least elevate your company's ability to recruit, if not solve your recruiting's problems. So action means going to work and not doing the same thing if that's what you did before and have it fail. That's the definition of insanity, right? Doing the same thing, expecting a different outcome. So challenging yourself to see what you can do to shift your company in a way that would attract the A players is of course, a wonderful thing you can do. I assure you that if you can do these three things, you will have a different experience in building your bench. Guys, thank you for your time.
