YouTube interview clip from "The Secret to Retention" (Will Humphreys) where speakers report only one clinician left over six and a half years and attribute retention to local roots, competitive pay/incentives, and robust education/training for therapists.
This will blow your mind. And it blows everybody's mind telling this. Since the last six and a half years, we've only had one clinician leave us.
I have to sit down.
Right, Right. And it was. It was an unregrettable leap, like we were. It's okay.
It was one of those.
Yeah, but only one is left. Clinician has left us. Of course, we lose, you know, ancillary staff that come and go.
Yeah, but the core team, the core pts, all those people. You've lost one person in six and a half years.
Right.
What would you say some of your secrets for retention would be then?
So, like I mentioned, most of our team are. They're local. They. Whatever town they work in, where their clinic is, that's where they grew up and they live. And they have roots there. Their husband's there, their family's there, their wife is there, their parents are there, so they have no reason to leave. And then the incentives that we have as far as pay goes, and then the education we give them if they're going to be a therapist, there's no better place to be a therapist.
