at what point is the dog actually beyond help? I would argue that you've tried a lot of things with your dog, but you haven't actually tried anything yet that was effective. And today with like TikTok and all that other stuff, like, we want instant results, right? But you'll hear dog trainers say it all the time, you don't go to the gym and hire a PT for one day and then all of a sudden you've got a six-pack. You have to work at it. And I think a lot of people get stuck in the trap of trying something for a few days. They don't get the magic wand instant results that they want, and then they're like, well, that didn't work. Onto the next thing. They never really gave it a chance to stick. So that's one part of the puzzle, but also not, not having that communication system there with the dog. So the dog actually truly understands what it is that you're trying to tell them. Like, they don't speak English. They don't know what we're trying to convey to them. And most often we're trying to give the dog feedback so we can help them to be free, we can get them off lead, we can give them agency in life to, to move through it on their own without constantly having to be micromanaged with us, by us. So if that isn't there, then that's why training doesn't stick, because you're not able to give the dog feedback to tell them that was right, that was incorrect, try something loss. Um, so I would argue that your dog is not beyond help, and most dogs aren't beyond help. You know, look at Helena, that if she had listened to the multiple people that told her that her dog was beyond help, Ozzy unfortunately wouldn't be with us right now, but he is.
