Loki, a German Shepherd, can't get within 50 yards of another dog without barking, lunging, and choking himself on the leash. His owner walks him before dawn to avoid other dogs and the judgment of people watching.

Loki is a German Shepherd. When a Jack Russell lunges at the end of a lead, people might laugh. When a German Shepherd does it, people cross the street. They look back at you just like you're a criminal. Loki couldn't be within 50 yards of another dog without completely losing his mind. Barking, lunging, choking himself out on the end of his lead. His owner was waking up at the crack of dawn just to walk him in the dark, checking around every corner, terrified of bumping into another dog.
