Three commands make a well-behaved dog: getting their interest and attention, a reliable recall when called back, and clear yes/no cues to mark behavior. The "no" matters most because it sets boundaries.

If you could only teach a dog 3 things, what would it be? Interest is one of the most important things to teach. Recall. So bombproof recall. A no, don't do that thing, and a yes, do that thing again. I'd probably say those 3 things for me are the most important, not necessarily in that order. I'd probably say the no is the most important thing, to be quite honest. But yeah, recall, yes and no. Most important 3 things. You could get a load— like most of my dogs, to be fair, well, they know a few other things, but only know those 3 things. They don't do fancy obedience. They just know what to do, what not to do, and how to recall them. Ideal. Happy life.
