In this YouTube video, guitarist Aaron Jaxon presents a bluegrass‑style reinterpretation of Jimmy Page’s iconic Stairway to Heaven solo, channeling the phrasing and tone of legendary flatpicking guitarist Tony Rice. He first performs the solo at its original tempo, then repeats it at half speed while on‑screen tablature scrolls to illustrate each note. Jaxon points viewers to a downloadable tab file linked in the video description and pinned comment, inviting them to learn the arrangement themselves.

Hey there, it's Aaron Jaxon coming to you today. What I've got for you is a little reimagining of Jimmy Page's classic solo to Stairway to Heaven done in a Tony Rice bluegrass style. I'll be playing a lot of the licks and passages and phrases that Jimmy Page used, but I'm going to, if you will, Tony Rice-ify them quite a bit. So I'll go all the way through and I'll play the solo up to tempo, but then I'm gonna play it again at half speed. And when I play it at half speed, you'll see tabs scroll across the top of the page. Page. And if you would like to get your own copy of the tabs for this, I've got a link down in the video description and in the top pinned comment. So without further ado, here's my reimagining of Jimmy Page's Stairway to Heaven solo done in the style of Tony Rice. I hope you enjoy it.
