I want to show you one of my very favorite all-time picking exercises here. It goes like this. And no, it's not Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day. Here it is slow. So that pattern's a little tricky to get at first, but once you get it down, you can move it around to different positions on the neck. You can do— you can play without any frets at all. It's just a great picking exercise. I practice it every single day, and if you'll practice that, you'll see an improvement in your picking technique. And I think that you'll find that a lot of the other tunes and licks and solos that you're practicing will become a lot easier. Alright, see you next time.
