Hey everyone, this is Russell Brunson.
And this is Steven Asketas.
And we are here in an exciting Marketing in Your Car.
Welcome to the Marketing in Your Car podcast, where you can increase your traffic, conversions, and sales in just 10 minutes a day. And now, here's your host, Russell Brunson.
Hey everyone, so we have been in the middle of a hackathon. As you guys know, I've done some podcasts on the way home. And I'm here today because one of our newest additions to ClickFunnels We flew him here from Australia and he's been hanging out for his first hackathon. And I want to get in his own words what it's been like to be on the inside. You want to tell everyone what it's been like?
Yeah, it's been pretty crazy. I flew up 32 hours to meet these guys and I didn't know what I was getting myself into. But I got here in the end, I think with 4 different airplane flights. I went through 5 airports, but I got here at midnight. And yeah, first day was awesome. We were just smashing out work. Russell introduced me to the team. I saw— I met Dylan, Winter, Todd. Ryan, absolutely awesome team. And it's like finally get to see how ClickFunnels has been so successful. So it's been awesome to work with everyone and we've been smashing it. We've been hustling out till 4 AM every night and really putting the hard yards in. And I think you guys are going to be really pumped to see what's going to come out in the next few weeks. We've got some really cool things planned.
Awesome. So talk about day 2, what happened? Because we had a special guest come hang out with us.
Yeah, that's right. On day 2, we had Mr. Neil Patel join us. So I'm sure you guys are familiar with Neil with Kissmetrics and Crazy Egg and Hello Bar and I think there are a few other companies he's founded and stuff, Quicksprout and whatnot. But, oh gosh, I don't know where we're going.
We're off-roading it.
Off-road in a new car. Only Russell would do this. Anyway, but yeah, Neil came down and he shared some epic, epic takeaways with us from what he's done in his companies, how we can grow our company. And yeah, he's been killing it on the content marketing side. He just dropped absolutely golden nuggets. So hopefully you guys are going to see the awesome blog posts come and see some of the value that's gonna come onto the blog side of things as well.
Yeah, it's gonna be awesome. So Stephen joined the team to help us with all the content stuff, so we thought we should hire the man, Neil Patel, to come and coach us on that so that we can do it right. And it was good. I think that we were going in a good direction, but he helped kind of steer us like, this is the perfect way to do it. So it's gonna be fun to see what you're able to do with this. You're kind of— your baby in the company now. And yeah, so some exciting stuff. So the last, the last 5 minutes before we just just jumped in the car. Basically, Dylan was like, got excited and wanted to launch everything we've been working on for the last year, like all in one month. So we filmed the video, you guys will probably see it on Facebook or through email or somewhere. But we are basically launching pretty much everything, all the rest of the stuff in August. So that means, first off, there's a brand new UI that's amazing. It looks like a whole new company. It's simpler, it's stripped out all this kind of stuff, it's awesome. A new, a new homepage or like a new site, which I spent the whole week building, which I think I'm proud of it.
Yeah, it is pretty good.
Not gonna lie. So that's kinda cool. And then we've got Backpack is going live. So everyone will have the affiliate program inside their accounts here in August. The Dream Car Contest is going live so you can win the Corvette I'm driving in or whatever car you want. Actionetics, what I thought was gonna be another 2 months before it's coming out, is now happening this month. And we got accounts yesterday. That's like—
It's crazy.
I feel bad for every other autoresponder company on planet Earth. Like literally, I— yeah, it's amazing. Imagine editing emails in the ClickFunnels email editor.
I've never seen anything like it. It's actually like— I don't want to swear, but it is absolutely amazing. And like, to do something so easily— like I personally, I was telling Russell this earlier on about half an hour ago, I hate emails. I hate making them. I hate sending them. But as soon as I logged into this, this, it was pretty amazing. It felt like I was at home. I feel like I was finally able to like just dive deep in and everything was just done for me the way I like it. So I think you can't get much better than that. I think you guys are going to have a lot of fun creating emails like the same way that when you first jumped into ClickFunnels and you started playing around with funnels and you were just locked in there for 3 hours and you didn't come out of your bedroom or you didn't see your kids or you didn't see your wife and you got yelled at, you'll be the same with the email editor. It's gonna be a rollercoaster ride. I can't wait to see it come out.
Anyway, you guys are gonna love it. So we just want to give you a quick update because the end of the hackathon is here. It's like 2 or 3 or 4 in the morning, dropping Steven off at the hotel, and just want to say hey to everybody. He's been listening to Marketing Your Car since day one, and now he's on officially Marketing Your Car, which is exciting. So appreciate you guys. Thanks for listening. Thank you for being here.
Thank you for listening, guys, and it's been awesome. Thanks, Russell.
All right, we'll talk to you guys soon.
