Good morning everybody! I hope you are doing amazing. Welcome to Marketing in Your Car. Welcome to the Marketing in Your Car podcast, where you can increase your traffic, conversions, and sales in just 10 minutes a day. And now, here's your host, Russell Brunson. Hey everyone, I hope things are going amazing for everybody today. I'm so excited, we are coming in to start filming episode number 2 of Funnel Hacker TV. Oh, I cannot wait for you guys to see this. Oh, I cannot wait, you guys are gonna, I hope, I really hope actually. You may hate the show, but I think you're gonna like it. I think you're gonna love it. So we're filming episode number 2 today, which today, so episode number 1, we all went into Biohacking Secrets. We built out the book funnel for that. So if you go to biohackerguide.com, you get the free book and see the funnel and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, right? So that's step number 1. That was the first thing that we did. Excuse me. And that's working awesome. And so, Episode 1 is all about that and telling Anthony's story and all that kind of thing, which is cool. Episode number 2 now, we're doing a funnel with my buddy Christian Fioravante. Good luck spelling that. Anyway, he's awesome. Someone who's been working with us for a long, long, long time and he's just an awesome guy. And so he's been building a survival product forever. I've wanted to be in the survival space for a long, long time, ever since all the people I know started crushing it in survival. And so, and I always wanted to do a survival straw like that you drink Have you seen those little straws that are like a filter so you can like drink out of the toilets if you want to? So when the world comes to an end, like you're still good to go. So that's what I've always wanted was a Survival Straw offer. So we're kind of partnering on this and we're doing a Survival Straw offer. It's gonna be cool, but this episode, first episode was very like emotional. Anthony's an emotional guy and like his story's awesome. So that was episode 1. We wanted to lead with that. Episode number 2 now, we wanna kind of start defining some of the core things like of what funnel hacking actually is and so That's what's gonna be kinda cool about this one is that we're actually gonna go and this is gonna be like a funnel hacking episode. So like we funnel hacked 2 survival funnels yesterday. Stephen designed them on these big old poster boards. We're gonna be showing those in the video and like walking through the whole thing and really mapping out exactly what's, like what we're gonna build and then we're gonna go build it. It's gonna be amazing. I already pre-bought ads that are running tomorrow. This funnel we're trying to get done today and a bunch of other cool things. So that's kinda what's going down. It's gonna be a fun day. We have to, we have today and tomorrow to shoot but the ads go live tomorrow morning so we pretty much have to get it all done today. So yeah, cross your fingers and I gotta get home 'cause we got people coming over tonight so it's not like I can pull an all-nighter. It's like we gotta get this done during business hours today which should be a ton of fun. that is what we are scrambling for. And yeah, so that's what's happening. So much fun things. I tell you what, I spent probably, I don't know, 10 or 12 hours yesterday just working on the new Expert Secrets book. And I gotta tell you, like, I am so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so excited. I would say. I don't think I wouldn't have said it by myself, but after the event we had last weekend, talking about Expert Secret stu, I got people like, "Oh, that event was amazing, best thing I've ever been to, blah blah blah." Those things always come with any event you do, right? This was different. I had people who don't normally give compliments to me, try to pat me on the back, come back and pull me aside and be like, "Dude, this is the best thing you have ever done, ever." Which is exciting. Oh! Like multiple people. And so I'm just like, I'm dying, I want this I just want this book to be done. I'm hustling more than I ever have because again, I spent the last 8 months writing the first version of the book and it was good but it wasn't like, it didn't fire me up. Now it's like all I wanna do is have this book done. But it's gonna be good. It will redefine everything you believe about selling and how to sell and how to build a following. Oh, I can't even tell you how cool it is. One of the really cool things, and so one of the things we talked about at the event is like, that there's two pieces. One's like you becoming an expert, number two is building a following, right? Like if you don't have a following, it's like the whole like, if a tree falls in a forest and no one's there to hear it, does it make a noise? Like no, it doesn't, right? If you're an expert and there's no one there that listens to you, then it doesn't really matter. Like you're just some crazy person on the corner yelling, right? And so it's like, how do we build a following and what goes into that? We broke that down a lot and so it's cool. There's 3 core components. One is— and so like when you see the book, you'll see all the hand sketches in the book and make more sense but it's basically like a charismatic leader, a cause, and a new opportunity. Those are the 3 things that have to be present for there to be a mass movement, for there to be people to buy into your vision and things like that. And so charismatic leader or attractive character, we talk a lot about that. The new opportunity is like one of the big ahas you will have when you read the book. It's like the reason why most people, if your offer's failing, it's because you're probably selling like an improvement or repair offer. We're trying to make things better as opposed to a new opportunity. And like, make a pretty dang convincing argument that like you have to have a new opportunity, right? And look at pretty much every offer we've ever had that succeeded, all were tied to a new opportunity. None of the improvement offers have ever made any money. So there's another lesson for you, but that's a lesson for another day, 'cause we can go deep into that. The cool thing we figured out yesterday is the middle one was the cause, like creating a cause. And when you create a cause, like It's gotta be something that is all based on like the vision of the future, right? Because when people are afraid of what the future can hold, they don't wanna move. Like there's fear around that, right? But when they're faithful in the future, then it makes them want to move towards that compelling future, that vision that you're kind of painting and illustrating, right? So that was a big part of it. And then we were like, I was trying to explain that at the event. I was like, how do we get everyone to like get this and understand it? And I was struggling to really get it. And all of a sudden I had this thought pop in my head to show the intro video from the reality show that we're filming episode 2 of today, right? 'Cause in that, I wrote the script and it was all about this call to action. I wanted this to be like an us versus them. Like we're separating us from traditional businesses. We're separating us from college. We're separating us from VC-backed companies. I wanted a very clear, defined us versus them. And so when you guys see the intro the first time, first off, you're gonna love it 'cause it's pretty dang cool. But second off, you'll see how it's like this this thing that it's like where I'm drawing a line and you're taking sides. Like, are you with this or are you against this type of thing? It's pretty cool. And so yesterday as I showed the video and people when they saw that, like, I understand now what you mean by starting a cause and like a movement. And so yesterday as I work on the book, I was writing that section and I was getting stuck. I'm like, how do you make this interesting? And what's like a, I don't want to just have the book be very strategic. Like, oh, you need to start a cause. It's gotta be important. You know, like that's dumb. Like what's the tangible tactical things afterwards? And so I was thinking more and more through that and then all of a sudden like, I started thinking back about like, you know the movie Jerry Maguire where at the very beginning of it, Tom Cruise's character, I guess his name's Jerry Maguire in the movie, anyway, where he like sits down and he writes that like that manifesto of what he thinks the industry should be and he hands it out and it's like, that's the turning point now where everyone's like, they're either with him or against him and most people are against him but he gets Renee Zellweger, whatever her name is, to like, to follow him and this is like, that document though was like what stirred people up to action and and to want to move towards this cause, which is really, really cool, right? And so that's kinda the concept. So I started saying, you know, like, we, like, I feel like every business, every cause needs to have that, like that moment where they sit down and write out the Jerry Maguire letter and like this is their manifesto of what they believe and who they are who they're not. And I was like, well, how do they write that? Like, what's the tangibles? So then I went back to my video for the Funnel Hacker TV and I listened to it like 5 or 6 times, and there was a very cool script that was in there. And so I sketched out like, number 1, you introduce the attractive character, the charismatic leader. Number 2, you introduce the movement. From there you shift over to us versus them and you talk about who you stand for, who you are, who you're not. And you go through there and then you talk about why your movement's better, and then you talk about who this is not for, and then you transition at the end to like who you are, and who you are as a movement. And it was so cool, so I sketched out the whole thing, I drew it on like a flag, and so it turned out so cool. So now we've got like an actual script and a process for people to build out their manifesto, or their whatever you wanna call it, like your, the call to get people into your cause. And that was like a big aha yesterday that we got that and got that into the book and it's so cool. So anyway, just something to think through today. 'Cause you know, we'll get deeper into the charismatic leader and the new opportunity, but today I want you to think about the cause. Like what's your cause? Like why should people buy into it? What are the alternatives they have that you need to kind of shun and push aside? Like why is your cause the best? Those are the questions I want you to be asking yourself first off. And second off, I want you guys to sit down and actually write out, pretend like you're Jerry Maguire and you're pissed at everything that's happening in the industry and write out your manifesto and create that and then that could be the rallying call for your people, for your cause. You will see that coming in full light here very soon as we release the first episode of our reality show but I think it's something you guys are gonna love. So that's all I got you guys, I'm at the office, time to go film. I'm only 9 minutes, 6 minutes late so. It's pretty good, not double digits today. Alright guys, talk to y'all soon. Bye.
