This leads me to something that I call the Founder Oath. And sort of like the Hippocratic Oath the doctors take to do no harm, that the Founder Oath goes something like this, which is that it's about the mission, not me or my ego. And I promise to do my best to separate my ego from the business. The second thing is that while a lot of the people work for us that don't ever forget that we work for the company and the team. And the third part of the Founder Pledge is that I recognize that very few things can screw up a company more than founder drama. And if we are fortunate enough, the company grows beyond us, then I will step aside gracefully for the good of the mission.
