Short coaching monologue (YouTube video) by Kevin Ray Ward advising real-estate agents that the single most powerful skill to win listing appointments is projecting absolute confidence and certainty — believing and communicating that you are the best choice. He emphasizes that sellers seek certainty when entrusting valuable assets and that confidence is built through deliberate practice and role-play.

You have to believe this. As a real estate agent, your best power, the most powerful you will ever be when it comes to handling objections, is when you have this belief that I am the best decision you could ever make. For you to hire another agent or for you to not hire me, that would be a huge mistake. So your belief, your certainty, your confidence is the first and most powerful key to overcoming any objection. Because that's what the seller is looking for. They're looking for certainty, they're looking for confidence. And if they don't feel that confidence in you, then they're not, they don't have confidence. If you're not confident in your ability to sell their house and your ability to get them to say yes. If you're not confident in your ability to deliver the best results, how in the world can you expect them to be confident? Because you're asking them to entrust you with the sale or the disposition of a 1 million dollar asset or a $500,000 asset, or a 3 million dollar asset. You're asking them to entrust you with that. They got to have confidence. And if you don't have confidence, they're not going to have confidence. So the first thing is you got to get super powerful and confident. You've got to have that confidence. Now how do you get that kind of confidence? There's no shortcut. Practice and role play, Practice and role play. You got to be willing to do this.
