This is a YouTube video (title: "11 Crypto Companies Just Got Federal Banking Charters in 83 Days") posted March 22, 2026. The excerpt is a single-speaker monologue/commentary describing how 11 crypto firms obtained federal banking charters in an 83-day span, related OCC approvals, a regulatory rewrite effective April 1, 2026 that broadens trust-company activities to enable crypto custody and stablecoin infrastructure, Kraken receiving a Federal Reserve master account, and connections between crypto firms (e.g., ZeroHash) and Wall Street. The speaker also links these developments to the Genius Act (July 2025), stablecoin purchases of U.S. treasuries (citing Tether holding $141B), and potential pushback from traditional banking lobby groups.

So we had 11 crypto companies get federal banking charters in 83 days, and that's the same banking access as JP Morgan and Bank of America. You have to understand that JP Morgan arguably exacerbated a bank fall and created the Federal Reserve itself. And I'm going to give you so much evidence that crypto is going to be dominating the banking system that you will not be able to deny it. If you didn't know this, there's actually an institution that regulates all banks. It's called the OCC. And basically, they conditionally approved 5 crypto companies for federal banking charters on December 12th, 2025. You've probably heard the names: Circle, Ripple, Paxos, Fidelity. This is the first time in history. And the craziest part about all of this is that the next 83 days after that, 6 more companies filed and got approved. Crypto.com, Bridge, Stripe, Portego, Morgan Stanley, Payoneer, and ZeroHash. 11 companies in 83 days. OCC themselves told the Senate that they used to get fewer than 4 charter applications per year. And in 2025 alone, they got 14. I also do not think it's a coincidence that in Iran, they had a $7.8 billion shadow stablecoin economy. To preserve wealth through hyperinflation, and then shortly after, when America figured it out, they got bombed. I don't think that's a coincidence. Not only did they get approved for banking charters, but they quietly rewrote the regulations so that if there's another president, they cannot undo what just happened. So on February 22nd, this regulation was rewrote and published in the Federal Register on March 2nd, and it's effective on April 1st, 2026. They changed the language from fiduciary activities to operations of a trust company and activities related There too, that one sentence pretty much unlocks non-fiduciary activities like crypto custody, stablecoin infrastructure, digital asset safekeeping under a federal banking license. They didn't just approve the companies; they rewrote the rulebook to make sure it sticks. Then, to really put the cherry on top, on March 4th, Kraken became the first crypto company in U.S. history to receive a Federal Reserve master account approved by Kansas City Fed direct. Access to Fedwire, the system that moves trillions a day, the same pipes as JP Morgan and Bank of America. A crypto exchange born on the internet now settles payments on the same rails as the biggest banks on Earth. That 11th company that got the banking charter called ZeroHash that we talked about, they actually literally and directly power the crypto infrastructure behind Morgan Stanley. That's BlackRock's Build Fund. They literally license the entire crypto backbone of Wall Street in one move. And made sure there was no headlines talking about this. It was so destructive that the Banking Policy Institute, which represents JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, and Citigroup, is now considering suing the OCC for making this happen. So you have to ask the question, why is this happening? We have 4 separate banking lobbies fighting all of this and losing, and it's because of the Genius Act that passed in July of 2025. Every dollar in a stablecoin has treasuries backing it up. That's direct purchases from government debt. Every time someone adopts a stablecoin, the government eats off of that. So Tether holds $141 billion in government debt. That's the 17th largest holder of US debt on Earth. Of course they want it to happen.
