In this monologue, the presenter argues that the primary bottleneck for the current AI expansion is not chips, capital, or talent, but access to cheap, grid‑connected electricity and the land that already hosts such power. He highlights a set of Bitcoin mining firms—TerraWolf, Cipher, Hut 8, Core Scientific, Applied Digital, and IREN—that have spent the past decade securing cheap power, building substations, and obtaining long‑term grid contracts. As AI data centers require massive, reliable power, these miners now own the critical real‑estate and power infrastructure that AI companies need, effectively becoming landlords for the AI boom. The speaker cites the difficulty of obtaining new grid connections (a 7‑year process) versus the relative speed of building chip factories or raising capital, and points to companies like CoreWeave that lease data‑center space from these miners. He frames crypto’s previously mocked energy use as an inadvertent foundation for AI’s massive power needs. The video concludes with a promotional plug for an AI research‑trading system sold for $1.

For 10 years, people said Bitcoin mining was a waste of electricity. Today, those exact companies own the land that the entire AI boom is standing on. Let me show you everything I'm talking about. Everybody wants to know who's going to win the AI race. NVIDIA, OpenAI, Microsoft, the chips, the models, the clouds. That's the wrong question in my personal opinion, because the actual shortage in AI right now is not chips. It's actually not money and it's not talent. It's electricity. And more specifically, land that already has power running to it with a contract. So go look at who actually owns these sites: TerraWolf, Cipher, Hut 8, Core Scientific, Applied Digital, and IREN. Every single one of those is a Bitcoin mining company. For a decade, they did exactly one thing: find cheap electricity, fight through the interconnection process, build the substation, turn megawatts into money. And for a decade, the whole world called it wasteful, pointless, bad for the planet, and, you know, very inefficient. Then AI showed up and needed more power than any industry in modern history. And it turned out you can't just buy what these companies already had. You can build a chip factory in 2 years. You can raise $100 billion in a week, but you cannot skip a 7-year grid connection line. In Virginia, the utility connects about 10 large customers per year, and that is literally it. So now the NeoClouds lease buildings from the miners and fill them with chips. CoreWeave has $99 billion backlog across 49 data centers, almost all of them leased from somebody else. AI did not replace crypto. Crypto quietly built the floor that That AI is standing on right now. I keep thinking about how often the thing that everybody mocks turns out to be the thing that was pretty much being prepared the entire time. The stone that the builders rejected. We spent a decade defending an industry the world called worthless, and it is the building foundation for the biggest build-out of our lifetime. Nobody's saying this out loud in either industry, but please share this video for somebody that needs to understand. By the way, if you guys wanna learn how I make money off of all of this research, we have AI automatically research, buy, and sell, and we give the entire system away for $1. The link is in my bio. Take advantage.
