Bitcoin is digital gold that's been around since 2009 and just entered mainstream via spot ETFs. Layer-2 blockchains are the internet's plumbing, and crypto will eventually capture the value of social media, cloud storage, e-commerce, gaming, and payments, far surpassing Bitcoin's market cap.
We just quantum shifted into another reality of asset classes and money. So as you can see right here, this is the table of macro asset classes. So yes, there's all these different classes of money, including gold, currencies, real estate, equities, and these have been out for thousands and hundreds of years, and we just had a massive shift. It is very significant. Bitcoin is now in a category of macro asset classes. It's accepted worldwide. It's moving into governments as a spot ETF. And we have only been out since January 2009. Just think about that for a second, right? We're really early on Bitcoin. It's very early. And as you can see from all the other macro asset classes, they've been out for thousands of years and have accumulated trillions of dollars. We're very early. Now see, the thing is, we're even earlier to things like stablecoins, Ethereum, layer 1s, layer 2s, and altcoins. Altcoins are even earlier, and they will be a macro asset class coming soon. You are very early. We're only looking at about $160 billion. But see that— but see that— but see, the thing is, this is the underlying technology of the new internet, Web 3.0. So I believe when We will accumulate significantly more value than Bitcoin does because it's only digital gold. We have one category, which is digital gold. We have every other category, including real estate, all of the other asset classes that you guys are watching— energy, commodities, everything. Look, gold, real estate, equities, everything, bonds— all of this can be captured by the blockchain technology, layer 1s and layer 2s. We're talking about literally everything, and this doesn't even include all of the value that's derived from the art market. It doesn't include all the value that's derived from the internet. Literally everything that could obtain value on the internet will be captured by cryptocurrency. Listen to what I'm saying. Here's just the difference and how much it costs to transfer from all of the current payment transferring methods, including Bitcoin And right now, when it comes to layer 2s, when it comes to layer 2s, it is unmatched. It's cheaper and faster than anything else on the market. What I think people are missing is the fact that, again, we— it's like it's the plumbing of the internet. So layer 2s are going to literally take away value from everything. We're talking about social medias. We're talking about cloud file storage, e-commerce platforms, gaming, APIs and automation, payments and checkout. Every single technology that's currently being used on the internet can be captured from this little measly asset class that I've been trying to explain to you guys. If Bitcoin is early right now when it comes to asset classes, then stablecoins, Ethereum, layer 1s, layer 2s, these smart contract platforms are like, we are ahead of the curve, very ahead.
