Alexander Lorenzo sets up a personal AI assistant named John on a Mac Mini using Claude and ChatGPT. The agent trains on his chat history and community transcripts, then runs automated tasks 24/7, including extracting news and learning to emulate his voice and behavior.
So like I talked about yesterday, agents are the future and I'm setting mine up right now as we speak. So I got the Mac Mini set up, as you can see right here, Mac Mini set up. And what I'm doing now, which is crazy because I got the entire Claude bot, it's actually spelled C-L-A-W-D bot. It's 100% free. What you have to pay for is the API. So for example, I'm using Claude Code, which is C-L-A-U-D, that type of Claude. Right? You have to pay for the API. So it's, it's, it's based off utilization. And so essentially what I'm doing right now is I'm actually training my bot based off of me. So as soon as it starts, the bot doesn't even know its own identity. It doesn't even know who it is. So you have to give it an identity. I called mine John. All right, so John is an assistant for me, a virtual assistant. And what I'm doing right now, which is really insane, as you can see right here, I logged in. Let me actually— let me just show you the screen. I don't want to click this because this is the actual browser for the AI agent, but I logged into my ChatGPT and what it's doing is going through my entire history of ChatGPT because I use ChatGPT the vast majority of time for all of my internet usage. So what it's doing is it's taking and extracting— look, all the information, my recent 27 chats, my custom GPTs, my projects is looking at literally everything that I talk to in ChatGPT, extracting the information automatically, and then it's actually creating a brain on my desktop. Let me show you. So as you can see right here, this is Alex's AI brain. It created that folder on my desktop and now it's saving all of my stuff. It's literally saving everything, all of my chats. It's basically creating a brain. So that if I ever ask it to like speak like me or whatever, it's like essentially learning me. And so it can talk like me or basically do whatever I want. And so what I'm gonna do now is essentially, I'm going to go into my community because I thought about it, I'm like, where do I speak the most, right? I want this agent to really understand me so it can accommodate my needs. And it can go to like every single, it'll go in my school community, go to every single message I put. It'll go to every single live Q&A. It'll open the live Q&A, read the transcripts, and what it's doing is it's extracting a whole bunch of information to learn me, which is insane, right? And then from there, I'm going to send it to do tasks 24/7. For example, I could be like, based off the information that I usually provide on the internet, I want you to go look at the news. what are my favorite interests and my favorite subjects, and extract the most important pieces of news from the internet. Here it's saying it's done. And what I did is I scheduled another learning session for 2:00 AM tonight because I want to use the bot and I can't use it while it's running. So it did like a 10-minute research session on me and it'll be doing way more research at 2:00 AM tonight.
