This is a YouTube video titled "If I Wanted to $20,000 a Month, This is What I’d Do" (created 2026-08-11). The excerpt is a single-speaker monologue giving a practical business/monetization strategy: build customized automated clipping/edit apps (author says they built it using Claude Code) for small businesses, sell each app for about $1,000 plus offer $50/month support, and cold-call prospective clients to scale to $20,000/month. The speaker describes the app’s capabilities (auto-chop long-form content into clips, add titles/captions/music, export Premiere Pro packages), the ease of prompt-engineering the tool, simple per-client customizations (colors, fonts, animations), and go-to-market tactics (300–500 calls/month, ~20 sales). Content type: YOUTUBE. This is a standalone advice/tips video, not a multi-speaker conversation.

If I wanted to make $20,000 a month as quickly as possible starting from scratch and all I had was a mouse and a computer, I would make customized edit apps for small businesses and sell them each for $1,000 a pop and just cold call businesses. Let me explain what I'm saying. Right now, content clipping is the biggest thing in online organic marketing because you could take a long-form piece of content and get many clips out of it. You can get Variations of the clips. I mean, from one long-form piece of like 30-minute piece of content, you could literally get over 500 clips. Believe it or not, you can get variations. You probably want to stick to about like 50 to 100, but you could get a lot. And so what I would do is I would sell this customized app. This app was built in Claude Code. All you have to do is prompt engineer it. It's very simple. Just say, hey, I want to build, and I could give you the prompts and all that, whatever the case is. But to be honest with you, it was extremely easy. I just say, hey, I want to build an app I literally went to Cloud Code. I want to build an app that will make a custom edit and it will clip content. Now you have to work your way through the bugs, but I made this in probably less than 3 or 4 hours. It chops the actual long form for me, finds the best pieces of actual reels. It goes and puts a title on it. It renders by basically doing the captions, scripture, because I put Bible verses in it, the zooms. It pretty much does everything. It even lays the music for me. And then it even ships a Premiere Pro package. Now the beauty of this is all you have to do is make it one time, and then all you have to do is switch the color grade, switch the fonts, and you can sell a specific style to each individual business. All you have to do is switch a couple things, which is literally the color, the fonts, and the animation, whatever animation you chose. Make a simple editing software and give it to them, and then offer them like a $50 a month service to work out the bugs with them or something like that. All you need to do is sell 20 of them a month. Make 300 to 500 calls a month and close the deal. A custom clipping app for small businesses. I'm telling you, and it will be— their branding will be consistent. It will do the clips for them. All you have to do is tell them, hey, instead of hiring an editor, why don't you just use this clipping app where it'll take your long-form content? You just shoot a podcast. It'll take your long-form content, automatically make the clips, pretty much do all the editing for you. All you have to do is fix it up a little bit if there's small mistakes. And if you have any issues, $50 a month recurring revenue, you have the initial payment of $1,000 a month plus the recurring revenue. It's a custom app for the person and it solves a real problem, which is organic marketing. By the way, there's a lot of repos that will even automatically schedule the reel for you for free. So it's like a mini custom app to where they're gonna pay for the subscription anyways. I would do this. I would so do this. This is the future. People are building the custom websites for small businesses. Like they're like, hey, I'm gonna build you a custom website. And then they call them up. And it's like, bro, this is real. This is like the futuristic version of that. That's exactly what I would do because I use it right now for my own internal business.
