This content was created by Alexander Lorenzo. This content was uploaded by Alexander Lorenzo. This is a YouTube video titled "The Principles That Got Me Through 3 Bear Cycles…" (uploaded April 23, 2026). The excerpt is a long-form monologue by a single presenter (labeled SPEAKER A) addressing cryptocurrency investors about lessons learned across three bear markets. The speaker covers risk management, dollar-cost averaging, emotional detachment from positions, patience, mental fortitude, diligence, personal finance, character and spiritual development, and notes regulatory developments (e.g., the "Clarity Act"), Bitcoin price targets, and altcoin dynamics. The presenter also promotes one-on-one coaching/Zoom sessions (mentions Calendly, assistant Jenny, and collaborator Jesse) and frequently references personal anecdotes to illustrate points. This exact moment in cryptocurrency right now is probably going to make you more money than you've ever made in your entire life. And I'm saying that like literally, not as like a false statement or a fabricated statement. I want to be very clear. I've been through 3 different bear cycles, and there's nothing more important than what's about to happen right now. I'm looking at Bitcoin's price at $70,359, okay? And it's about to hit my zone. I have a zone that I've been watching for a while. I've revealed a lot of the information on the internet, but I'm— it's like an exact Bitcoin price zone that I've been looking for. And so this is very important and kind of pressing, right? You probably should really pay attention to what I'm about to talk about, okay? I've been through 3 different bear cycles. I want to tell you a really quick story, but this entire video is going to be about 21 principles I learned in a bear cycle. So the whole purpose of this is to give you like wisdom, something that you can't learn with ChatGPT or Claude. It's impossible to learn this. Claude didn't go through 3 bear cycles. Maybe it has the data, but it doesn't have a soul. So this is wisdom from what I actually learned, and I'm going to try to break it down to you as easy as possible so that you guys can not only survive the bear market but make money. So I'm going to tell you a quick story. So my first cycle, when I bought Ethereum at $3 to $7, people think that it's like this magical story where I just made a whole bunch of money and got rich overnight. Bro, I lost all my money. So I was investing a lot of money at $3 to $7 Ethereum. I lost it all. I went down to zero. I remember making a whole bunch of money and it's coming back down to zero. I remember sitting at a little, uh, a light, a red light on a turning signal, and it went down so far that I literally felt fear. Like fear in a way where like I just scammed everyone I told to come into crypto. I invested in a Ponzi. It's a wrap. Like this thing is a scam. Like I made like the decision in my mind and I just flipped it And I just bought more Ethereum even though I was dead broke, and it went all the way to zero. That was my first cycle. The second cycle, as you guys know, I've been dropping videos and talking about a lot of this stuff. My second cycle, I went broke with the business, right? I lost a lot of money, $5.2 million, right? Because I didn't know anything about business at all. But my trading generated well over 7 figures in the market with my trading specifically. And I, I like, I guess because when you go through it, you start realizing that these emotions are fake. Right? Because at the bottom of the market, everything seems super real and super bad, right? It seems horrible. It seems like the world's ending. But when you're past it and then you look back 2 years, you're like, oh, that's not that serious. And then you start— it starts flipping from fear, I just lost my money, it starts flipping to like, oh my gosh, I have to take advantage of this as aggressively as I possibly can. And that's what I meant by the title of this video at the beginning. If you don't drop the ball, this will be the most money you've ever made in your life. By far, there's so much mountains of information of what's happening with regulation right now. Like, to be honest with you, I lose track. It's ridiculous. I'm sure you guys seen the short-form content, long-form content, whatever, my tweets, whatever. I'm sure you've seen it. It's ridiculous, the mountains of information of what's happening, okay, with banking policy. It's absolutely ridiculous. We've been looking at the Clarity Act and studying it immensely for almost, what, like 7 months now? Like We've been looking at it for a while, but deep studying for like seven months, I'm coming to realize that they're just doing whatever. Jesse just texted me something about. I don't even know. Like it's so ridiculous. Something how they're trying to sneak policy through. They're trying to sneak policy to make like stablecoin yield. I don't even know. I'm gonna drop a video on it. He just sent me some research on it, but it's ridiculous. Basically, the kind of just to put like the temperature gauge on what's happening. We'll go over the principles. Sorry, guys. It's like a whole bunch of very rich. Very powerful people are all trying to like make it happen without the general public knowing. They're trying to make the altcoin season locked into place with regulation. Regulations, one of them, it is probably right now the most, it is the most important variable is regulation and law. Because once the foundations are set in law and no one can change it, then now they can build for the next 100 years. So the foundation's waiting to be set. The foundation is not here yet. The foundation happens when it's in its alignment with the country, which is America, which owns the world reserve currency. Obviously, there's other important countries, but when you own the world's reserve currency, it's important. So let's go over some principles. Hopefully you never get wrecked again. Number 1, and this is the golden rule, I hope that you will never bypass this principle again. I tell everybody, it's the first thing I tell people when I come into my communities. It's the first thing I tell people when I'm coaching them. Never invest more than you're willing to 100% lose. You have to imagine whatever dollar amount you have and completely let go of it. Not because it's a good investment strategy, but because you have to emotionally detach completely from your investment. This is the only way you can weather like 80% losses. People don't know this, but even Ethereum, XRP, and some of the bigger coins went down like, uh, like 90, 96% last cycle, 95%. So if you have $100 grand, a 95% loss is like you'll have $5,000 left. Right? So you have to weather that. And the only way you can weather that, if the money's in the market, you're not attached to at all. And the only way to not be attached to it is never invest more than you're willing to lose, 100% lose. Like, you have to go into crypto with the expectation that you're going to lose all of your money. If you do that, you'll actually probably make money. Number 2, the world does not revolve around you. A lot of people in cryptocurrency, because of like, you know, childhood trauma and what they've gone through— it's not just cryptocurrency, it's pretty much any industry— They think that they can do it by themselves and somehow they're like a superhero and super smart and somehow they work harder than everybody else and they could just do it by themselves. I don't know one entrepreneur or one rich person that did it by themselves. Okay, sure, I did technically come up by myself, but I had many people help me get there. I had my wife, I had a whole bunch of counselors and different people that told me what direction to go. I bought courses, I've read books. I mean, if you stack it up with all the books I read and all the communities I joined and all the people I talked I had thousands of counselors, but you guys are somehow gonna figure out crypto by yourself? Straight up, it's prideful. And if you don't like the truth being told on a camera, like, bro, like, go to another channel, uh, with a whole bunch of views that will pat you on the back and make you feel better about yourself. Number 3, risk management is king. More important than finding the right entry points, you must manage your risk effectively. The game is a long-term game. It is not a short-term game. What do I mean by that? Long term, long term, meaning if your capital doesn't last, you don't either. So risk management helps you with that. It's very simple. Just have a plan of how you're going to accumulate the coin as it goes down. That's it. So if you have $10,000 to quote unquote trade or to risk capital, you do not put $10,000 in the market immediately. You put a small allotment and you have a plan of how to buy as it goes down. Another thing I want to say is I'm actually doing personal coaching. So face-to-face for the first time ever. We're doing one-on-one calls, personalized coaching with me directly, not another coach, with me directly. We're just launching this, okay? All you have to do is go to the pinned comment below and sign up. I have a Calendly link. I'm just gonna be straight up with you, if you're late 5 minutes, I'm probably gonna cancel the meeting. If you don't fill out the questions or acknowledge the questions the right way, I'm probably gonna cancel the meeting. If Jenny, my assistant, reaches out to you to confirm that you're coming and you don't answer, probably going to cancel the meeting. Do not share my link with nobody. It's private. Please show up on time and ready to go, or I'm probably going to cancel the meeting. I already have in my Instagram DMs thousands of DMs that we're trying to get through. I had to literally tell Jesse to go and help with the DMs because of how crazy it is. And I'm telling you right now, like, it's going to be face to face, but it's the first time we're doing Zoom calls. Zoom calls directly with me, prerecorded. My goal is to help you, hand help you, hand help you through this entire process in crypto. And honestly, in life, it's not going to just be crypto. It's going to be literally everything 360. The goal is to get you to become financially independent as quickly as possible. And you guys all know that I think crypto is the best way to do that. Number 4, you are not crypto. You need to understand that identity is important. Let me define identity so you understand what I mean. So basically, if somebody says your pick is wrong and you feel bad about it— so if like for the XRP holders, right? If I tell you that you holding XRP is a bad idea and it offends you, if anyone tells you that and you feel bad about it, that is not, I repeat, your identity. You are not XRP. You are not your coin, as well as you are not your loss. For some reason, people They lose money, and then they think that somehow if they hold on and never do nothing, that they're gonna win, and that when they do sell or take a small loss or whatever, somehow that that means that they lost. That's not true. You only lose when you give up. You inhibit— like, not doing anything is really just telling me that your identity and you're emotionally attached to that position to where you can't change. You cannot change. So That's important to me. All right, now a couple other things. Patience beats intelligence in this market, really in any market. So the short-term traders, I know a lot of them, some of them make money, but in crypto, long-term trading wins. I know that for a fact because of the extreme volatility. The market goes for a very long time, so patience is literally everything. And it's so cliché and corny. I know a lot of people are like, when it comes to it, oh, I kind of know that, but like, I don't think you know what patience is. Like, if you've never committed to anything for 3 years, like, you, you don't know what patience is. And you can force that too. You can cast down a lot of different things. Like, you could push it aside in your mind. You don't need to believe that it needs to happen overnight. Like, you could force yourself to not believe that it's gonna happen overnight. You could force yourself to believe that it's not a get-rich-quick scheme and that you will not fall victim to a get-rich-quick scheme. You can, you can literally cast down your imaginations and do that. I teach people about that all the time. So patience is very important. Another thing, number 6, mental fortitude is very important, David Goggins style. Now, mental fortitude is not just working out. Obviously, that's what David Goggins does. Mental fortitude is training yourself to do hard things under pressure. I do it with— like, you can do it in a steam room. 15, 20 minutes in a steam room, depending on the temperature, is very difficult. And I've seen a lot of people fold, right, when doing that. You could do it with long-distance running. I ran 10 miles the other day without stopping. That hurt a lot, especially at my weight. I got to lose weight, right? Forcing yourself to be disciplined in your food. In general, doing very hard stuff in a training-like style and not folding, it's called grit training. And this will help you because what's going to happen is when the pressure's on, when all of your friends start calling you a scammer, everyone leaves crypto, right? And all these people just don't want to talk to you anymore because you— they think you scammed them and your portfolio is down 90%. There's something that has to click in your brain to where you do it anyways. There has to be some type of shift where you completely detach from all of your money, completely detach from reality in general, and you just believe that it's going to happen. And that's grit, man. A lot of people don't have that. I forgot there was a study on this specifically. I was studying it one time. Grit is a more important determining factor than intelligence by far. By far. So yeah, number 7, you can train yourself to do hard stuff and stop being like, bro, to be honest, a lot of people are just They're very lazy, bro. They're very lazy. Principle number eight: diligence. In cryptocurrency, it's important to be diligent. Now, a lot of these concepts are like, oh man, that's like a character trait. Yeah, yeah, Alex, of course. But listen what I'm saying: there's not too much information on decentralized Web 3.0. Okay? You have the X402 payment agentic AI commerce. Like you could find the information on the website, but it's not like spoon fed. Like, it's— you like, you're gonna have to figure a lot of crypto out by yourself. There's another reason I stopped doing tutorials. I used to do a lot of tutorials on how to set up Coinbase and all these things, but it's like irrelevant. It goes out of date fast, and you develop the skill of diligence that's more important than a tutorial, right? Being diligent in your work is doing— being completely invoked in the work, looking at every little detail. A lot of people, most people's journey when it comes to cryptocurrency, the only reason they have a coin is because somebody told them, they got super hype, and then they lustfully tried to— like, for 2 hours worked as hard as they can to figure out how to put money in a coin. They don't know any of the mechanics. They don't know the exchange, how it works. They don't even know the coin they're buying. That's not— that's the opposite of diligence. Your whole goal is to just from start to finish, because you've been trained that way your entire life and you have no diligence. What you should be doing is every single detail, understanding and comprehending Every detail throughout the entire process, and it's even more important crypto being the fact is the future technology. Okay, so in the bear market, there's always new tech birthed, right? Which brings me to my next point, number nine. I don't know if I skipped a number. Whatever. The next point, which is in the bear market, that's where true winners are marked. Whether you're a trader or a project builder, the ones that survive the bear market, that can generate cash flow, generate revenue. Make successful trades in a bear market are the ones that survive. The burnouts that only were good for the bull cycle, they all die in the bear market every single time. Every rich person I've ever known gets excited when the bear market comes because that's when real diligence gets exposed. The people that are really diligent, they win. The people that have been flying by the seat of their pants, acting like they're investors but they're not— you know how many people I talk to where they're like, yeah, I'm just holding, bro? And they're like, but Bitcoin's gonna double. And I'm like, bro, but you have no investment strategy. You're holding and you have— you don't even know your personal finances. You don't even know how much money you're spending per month versus how much you're making. You don't even know. You're just randomly throwing lobs of cash in the market randomly with no long-term diligence at all. And it's like, bro, somehow you're gonna think— like, that's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. Which brings me to the next point, very important. You must Have your personal finance situation on like on point? How could you think that you could somehow day trade or do any type of trading, crypto trading? How do you think like somehow that you are going to figure it out and be able to multiply wealth when you don't even know how to take your personal finances under control? You really have to ask yourself the question. Like that's crazy. That's that's and. Again, for bear markets specifically, the personal finances are the most important determining factor. Someone that has their personal finances in order knows I could put $500 into the market predictably every single month, no matter what the market does. If a person doesn't overinvest in the beginning, right? Like doesn't put too much money in and has their personal finances in check, they're gonna have dry capital for the bear market. And they're also gonna be able to strategically place in the right times at the exact bottom of the market. If you don't have your personal finances in order, bro, it's crazy. Here's another one, number 11, do not quit your job. I don't understand why people think that somehow magically they're gonna successfully become financially independent. You realize it took me 5 years and more than 10 businesses to become financially independent? Oh, but Alex, I'm smarter than you. I have an intelligence. Your pride, like this again, this is pride. I hear people saying all the time that, oh, Alex, I'm going to quit my job because I have $50K capital and I'm just going to go full-time crypto. And because I'm working 8 hours, it's going to magically work. Like, bro, you need 8 times 5 a day to catch up with the amount of trial and error you're going to have to go through to get a grip and understand. Like, every strategy works. Like, this is a Big problem for people. I don't like there's a person here, right? Imagine person here, and this is like principle number twelve. It would be character. Okay, character, right? So you have one person here. You have another person here. This person has character. This person has no character. They know the exact same thing. They have exact same knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of crypto. The person with character will run laps, guys. Laps. Character is everything. And so the problem is these guys. They think they're smart because they did good in school, or I don't know why a lot of times, but they think they're smart. They quit their job. They have no character. They're smoking vape pens. They're smoking weed with their friends. They don't know how to say no to their friends on weekends and getting drunk. They don't have any self-discipline at all. There's no growth trajectory at all. They sleep 4 hours a night. They go to sleep at 2 o'clock in the morning. They can't stop cursing every third word. They have no control. They just somehow think they're going to make it with no character development. And you have the right system. Somebody even gives you the right system. You know exactly how to get rich. You have the exact plan, you have the exact everything, and you keep falling straight on your face because you can't stick to something for a long period of time. You have no character. So the people that jump off into entrepreneurship that think in their head that it's the strategy that's going to make them work No, it's not the strategy. All the strategies work. Newsflash, it's not the strategy, it's the person, it's character that makes it work. Everything works. You can get the most barbaric, stupid strategy in the world, and if you have character, that thing's going to work. And so the problem is when people jump off and they never had entrepreneurship or investing experience, they're a baby in their character. That 4-year failure is not a strategy failure, it's a character failure. And there's no way to expedite character. You could expedite strategy. You can take a strategy and honor somebody else and get like a really good strategy. You could do that, but you cannot expedite character. It's impossible. You actually have to go through it, and you actually have to learn from life, and in my case, learn from God, right? That's, that's a fact. So character development is number 1. Number 3, very important in the bear market, you must get around other people that are in a similar situation to you. Okay, and if they're toxic, you got to cut them off. Who you hang around is extremely important. Some of you are coming like literally getting pushed down mentally because everybody around you is negative as heck, bro. I've been on a recent spree where I just speak life. I speak and I think life. That's it. That's all I think. I speak and I think life. And just I just keep speaking life, and nobody's gonna pull me down. And unfortunately, you guys have your friends because of again childhood trauma and things they haven't dealt with. They speak death, and you are super like, yo, I'm gonna win. I don't care if crypto goes down, and you're you're hyped. But then as soon as you go around them, the amount of the death overwhelms you, and they're speaking death. Or or your friends that lost money in crypto, and now it turns into a pity party, and then they start pointing fingers at us. Oh, this guy's a scammer. Like bro, there you know how many people have called me a scammer? Like it's crazy. Like you're just reflecting your own self onto other people on the internet. There's no justification for speaking death. No justification. Nothing. The Bible says to bless your enemies, even if they're your enemy. There's no justification to be a negative person. And some of you hang around them and they're chronically negative, and it's bringing you down completely. I'm telling you right now. Another one. Here's a big one for a lot of people. upset about it. I don't care, it's the truth. A lot of you are not spiritually developed. Spiritual development, this is a big one. Can you make money without spiritual development? Yeah, but the spiritual development you have is going to be from Satan. That's straight up, that's the truth. I don't know how to explain it to you. Some of you have rebelled from your church, slandered your pastor, and you think your church hurt, and then somehow you think you're going to make a business. I was thinking about that in the shower. There was a person that I used to coach, and he started basically rebelling against me and just calling me all these crazy names and stuff because he made a bad decision with his finances. And I'll never forget it because I was in the same situation, and there was a wise man— I'm not going to say his name— super wise man, seasoned man in the spirit that said this. It just hit me in my soul, bro. I'll never forget it. He said, people that can't honor others will never be honored. So if you can't honor somebody else in their faults, you can't look— you can't follow a leader, then there will be nobody that follows you. Nobody will follow you. You know why? We can get specific. Because the way that you see the leader and how you slander them and how you're so negative to this person, and just because the person makes a mistake or they don't do exactly what you say and you get pissed off and you start slandering them, is the same way you're going to treat the person that you want to train. When they make a mistake, you're gonna, you're gonna, you're gonna tear them up, and they're never gonna want to follow you. You're just a negative person. You're like, you're mean, like straight up. That's the best way to put it. So a lot of you are in straight rebellion. You can't submit to nothing. You don't follow nobody's opinion. Nobody's opinion. No one's. Like straight, you don't follow nobody. And I'm trying to be nice about it. It's true. You could have a guy— I was talking to You can have a guy that's significantly further than you, that has everything that you want. All the money, success financially, the family, everything. They have everything you want. As soon as they say one thing that you don't like, oh man, they have no credibility, and you start lashing out. That's pride, bro. You can't follow nobody, nobody's going to follow you, you'll never make a great business ever in your life. So, spiritual growth comes from honor. So if you can honor another man of God or a woman of God, what's gonna happen is you get what they learned. You can learn that by revelation or tribulation. Revelation is being revealed by somebody that's been there for you, and that's what I meant by all this. Or tribulation is you can go through it yourself. Speed is revelation. You'll learn so much faster, significantly faster, if you could just listen to the person. And it's the same thing with the bear market. I talk to people all the time. And I'm telling you, like, I know what their mind is going through because I've been through it. And I'm telling you, like, some people just genuinely do not have a chance in the short term. In the long term, they do if they don't give up. But in the short term, they're just so ignorant to what's going on, they do not have a chance unless they listen to somebody else that does. Like, I'm telling you, I'm just being real. Like, I talked to some people and they don't even know what a Web3 wallet is. They have their entire life savings in crypto and and the entire savings is down 80%. I'm like, bro, like, when I mean your chance is slim, it's like, it's slim. Like, it's extremely slim unless you can lower who you are, honour somebody else that's been in that situation and almost listen to them blindly. That's the best chance you got, right? So that, I mean, that's important. I guess that's principle 16, which is honour. Spiritual growth, right? If you don't have spiritual development by the Spirit, you're being trained by the devil. This is a spiritual war. Everything is spiritual. I don't care who you are. I don't care what religion you believe in. There's only 2 sides to this coin. There is good and bad. And good— the only one that's good on this earth is Jesus Christ. I don't care, bro. I really don't care. I don't care. I believe you come at the comment section. I could prove it from every dimension possible, from a scientific dimension, whatever dimension you want, whatever area you want. I could prove it. Jesus is God, like for a fact. No ifs, ands, or buts. So if it's not Jesus, who are you being spiritually developed by? And we know who that is, the devourer. So it's that simple. You need to get in alignment with a church. You need to get in alignment with a Holy Spirit-filled, demon-casting-out, miracle signs and wonder church that truly disciples you, that truly follows the principles of the Bible. That spiritual growth is more important. I mean, I should have— I didn't put it number 1 on the list. Because everybody just click off. But it is number one, significantly. Your relationship with God is more important than anything you possibly do. It front runs every mark of success in the world, hands down. There's nothing more important than your spiritual growth. Honestly, I'm just gonna leave it at that. I was gonna give you 21 principles, but really, I'm nothing without God. I was gonna put a very clear statement, bold. God gives me handouts. So literally, he's my Father. Just like if you have a kid and the kid leans on your chest, fully reliant, like a child is fully reliant on the father, that is the way I am with my business. I do nothing without getting confirmation from God. I do nothing without getting peace from God. I make no business decision, or sometimes I do and I get torn up at a mistake, but in my heart, I do nothing without God. And spiritual growth is everything. I feel like a lot of people needed that. Thank you guys for watching this video. I appreciate you. Jesse just walked in. I'm sure we got some research. I'll see you guys later. I'm gonna be dropping a lot of videos, so they're gonna be raw like this. Take it for what it is. I love you guys. Peace out. Talk to you later. Bye.
