The excerpt is a monologue from a single speaker labeled SPEAKER A (no named participants) who describes a major technological and financial shift: comparing the printing press and the internet to the current ability to place value—money, art, and organizational/technical structures—directly on the internet. The speaker cites a finance background (studying finance 8–10 years, teaching 5 years, claiming proven results) and frames the change as far more pivotal than prior communication/knowledge revolutions, urging listeners not to miss out.

That was crazy. The shift that we're experiencing now is not just communication and knowledge. It's value in the world. I've been studying finance for 8 to 10 years. I have proven results. I've made a lot of money off of this, right? I understand it. I'm teaching people for 5 years. I wasn't around during the printing press. When the printing press was created and the value of books can now be duplicated to the world, it shifted mankind like forever. They could essentially duplicate books very fast. And then the internet came out and it was like way more pivotal than the printing press because now not only can we duplicate information, but we can send it across the world without having to ship it. It doesn't have to go on any cargo ship. I could communicate with somebody in China instantly. That was crazy. But those 2 things were just simply communication and knowledge. The shift that we're experiencing now is not just communication and knowledge. It's value in the world. It's like 1,000 times more pivotal, I believe, than the creation of the internet or the creation of the printing press. Because it's not just communication, it's communication, it's money, it's art, it's any technical organizational structure can now be put on the internet. We could not before put value on the internet. It was impossible.
